Pro Buggy is just OK May 13, 2009 Reviewer:  Lisa M. Grable "On-line power shopper" Real Name (Austin, TX USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this little car for my son, he is 20, not a young kid. I thought it'd be fun for him to goof around with, he's still a kid at heart. I openned the box to try it out before I gave it to him because it looked fun. The box looked like it was a return, it was ripped and taped-up. The car and controler looked OK so I went ahead and took off the remaining packaging. One of the wheels was actually disconnected, I snapped it back on.
I charged it and tried it out on the carpet; it was really slow. Put it on a wood floor and it was better, but still slower than I expected and it did not have the power to climb anything like on the commercials. I was let down. I was hoping it would perform a lot better.
This toy is NOT for a young child, it will break easily and the parts are very tiny.

how to recharge it properly October 17, 2009 Reviewer:  D. nguyen Real Name See all my reviews >

the car is pretty fast with the turbo button held down.
to recharge properly you have to push the car onto the controller till the plastic prongs on the car are seated in the holes on the controller. if done right you could shake the controller all around and the car wouldn't come off it. just keep pushing till the car attaches itself to the controller. line up the plastic prongs and holes and push the prongs into the holes till it snaps in place. then press the turbo button once to start charging. the green light will come on for 50 seconds then turn off when done charging. it doesn't mention this stuff in the manual so i think a lot of people are thinking the toy is defective when it's not.
