I got this about 6 months ago. It's very nice to have in a small kitchen where you don't have a lot of work space and if you don't need a lot of prep space for cutting. There are cut marks on it, but what do you expect with a cutting board. Mine slid on laminate countertops and like another person said, a dish towel underneath it will fix that issue.

This is just a basic cutting board. Mine has a lot of scratches and I will need to replace it soon. I would spend the money on a better quality board.

I realize that this is a granite "poly" cutting board, but I expexted a harder surface than the one this board has. I have used it to cut different fruits and vegetables and was surpised (and not pleasantly) by all the knife marks and gouges on the board! Granted my knives are quite sharp,but I didn't expect to see evidence of everything I chopped. I don't even want to think of cutting meat on it. (Don't worry-I don't cross-contaminate.)
VERY DISAPPOINTED-even at the cost.If I'd have paid more, I'd return it. I guess this is what they mean when they say,"You get what you pay for." Contrary to Target's usually high quality merchandise,I'm very unimpressed and highly disappointed.But I said that already,didn't I?

I use this cutting board all the time! I like that is fits in my dishwaher (as compared to a wood cutting board). It still looks good after 2 years of use. It does show the knife marks, but you only see it up close, the black color really hides any stains that a white board could show.

This is the most inferior product I have EVER purchased. I really feel they are wrong to call it a cutting board when each and every cut with a normal knife makes a lasting cut mark. Target should be concerned about there reputation if they are going to continue to sell products as truly worthless as this.

I have this board in two sizes, and don't understand the previous reviewers being upset with this board showing cut marks! Um, isn't that the point of a cutting board? To provide a surface under the food you're cutting that will give way to your knife and prevent it from dulling? That's the reason you shouldn't actually cut on glass cutting boards or other hard surfaces because it can dull your knives quickly. I this this product is great, but I guess if you're concerned with a poly board showing cut marks, don't get the black, get a lighter color where the marks won't show up as easily.

I put this on my wedding registry and got it as a gift at my shower. I have been using it since the beginning of May 2008. After the first week it had tons of marks in it from cutting. I figured it would have been a little more durable than that. I continued to use it but I don't use it for meats (just as one of the other people noted on the reviews). I do love that it just pops right in the dish washer, that is very handy and probably its best feature aside from its handsome appearace.

This is a great cutting board, especially for the price! Of course you can see some cut marks, but what do you expect from a cutting board?! The coloring looks good and help hide stains that white boards inevitably show. Also, I love that it can go right into my dishwasher as opposed to wooden boards. I'm very happy with this product and have bought myself two more because I use it every day!
