The rack was a pain to assemble, but it can be done. However, the finished product is great. It is very compact and can be used in small spaces. I regret that it didn't include the combination clips or a means to acquire them because I assume that using the clips would provide 4 more spaces. I plan to purchase 2 more to add to the 2 I already purchased. If desired, the wooden pieces can be stained, but I like them natural.

I thought the picture of this look amazing, and when the package came a mere 4-5 days later, I was shocked! Upon opening the box, the first thought I had was... huh, weird color. It loosk nice and cherry-ish in the photo, but it's all different shades. Some are very light, some dark. But, I still liked the design until I had to put it together. I spent over 1 hr with this rack and ended up taking it back. I was missing one of the black pieces. Every single one was bent as well, so putting it together was difficult. I wouldn't have trusted 12 bottles of wine to sit on this thing as it did not seem secure even if I had all the pieces. My thoughts? Don't bother with this rack.
