I love a lightweight, cute maxi dress, but tried on about 10 different ones at various stores, ALL made me look pregnant because they have an empire seam that goes across the bust, (if you're a DD or larger), instead of under it, making the body of the dress hang far away from my waist.

This one has a seam that goes around your true, (upper), waist, and a straighter not so full skirt, so it's perfect for hourglass/busty women! And I can wear a bra with it..woohoo! (Most maxi's have tiny spagetti straps and little bitty triangle "cups" that don't cover anyone over a C cup)

I'm 5'4, and this dress was also the only maxi I've tried on this season that doesn't drag on the ground and require high heels. I think maxi dresses look best w/ casual thongs or flip flops, so yay! You can do that with this one!

Looks better with my wide black or brown belt, in my opinion, but the braided belt is cute too. Also cute w/ a white or black shrug or jean jacket.

Wow, I absolutely LOVE this SEXY #! I wasn't thrilled with the pattern at first site and because of that wasn't gonna' try it on, but then...I put it on and fell in LOVE. I wore it to a friend's outdoor graduation a few days later and received lots of compliments. It's feminine and sexy and shows off your shoulders just right! Oh, one other important factor that may help you in your decision to purchase; I am 5'4'' and 140lbs, I initially thought a medium (M) would be right for me, but turns out the small (S) is stunningly perfect!

I agree with the other reviewer that this is a great maxi dress for busty girls! I'm fairly chesty (DD/F) with a more slender lower body and this dress is super flattering for me. The cowl neck looks a little more sophisticated and adult than the strappy maxis, but that's a good thing.

I love this dress! I am tall and quite busty and this dress is flattering and not revealing. Ideal for the summer and can be dressed up and down for work, going out etc. The only thing is that this dress runs quite large, I bought the extra small size where usually I would be the small. Finally a maxi dress for big busted women!!

Not sure what the difference is between me and the other reviewers, but for me this looked sort of bulky and unflattering. I got a M, maybe I need to go get a small and it will fit better. But on me, the elastic waist looked weird and the cowl neck added bulk. I will try the small, otherwise...well, I guess you just have to try it on and see how it looks on you.

I bought this dress in the store and absolutely love it! It looks really expensive and feels like you have worn your nightgown to work, it's that comfortable! I got so many compliments when I wore it! It is very slimming.

I bought this dress for summer barbeques and casual dinners. Very figure flattering. As previous reviews-it will fit a bustier woman perfectly. Being smaller chested it actaully fell low and loose at the cowl neck. I wore a cami under and it looked lovely. I am 5'4" 120 lbs and bought an XS. Fit was not too long as with most maxi dresses. Material is light and comfortable and washed well, except it did tend to fade a bit after a few washings-even with Woolite.

I saw this online and, at my earliest convenience, went to my nearest Target to try one on. I am appraching mid-fifties, 5'3" (the dress on me has to be hemmed about 1 inch), a 31 inch waist (waist fits a tad snug, but still comfortable), and 41 hips.
The cowl neck and straight lines are the strongest features of this dress. The pattern is medium-sized, instead of big and loud. I wish it were 65% poly/35% cotton so there would be more "body" to the material, but all in all, I am extremely pleased with this for the price. I would have paid more for a better material.
