I don't think they're that tall since I'm used to wearing 4-5 inches, but I was surprised to see a department store such as Target would actually carry any pumps this high. I actually had been eying this specific pair for about 3 months, but was skeptical to buy them since they were "online only". They now sell them in the Targets around my area, so I bought them earlier tonight 'cause they don't feel too bad.

There is no platform and no padded foot bed, so it's not as comfortable as I was hoping they were. They don't hurt, but depending what size you get, your toes might be squished up in the front. I wear a size 7-7.5 and bought a 7, it's a little tight (as I'm hoping they'll stretch out with wear), but the 7.5 was obviously too large for my feet.

Considering these are from Target, they're very nice and don't look very cheap. They could pass for [....] pumps. If you have money to splurge though, and you definitely want something super comfortable, I'd go with the BCBG Max Azria 'Daja''s. Again, they're very average so overall with the price, it's not spectacular - I really believe you're getting what you pay for.

I bought these shoes for the fact of the heel. I'm so happy with the fit and heel hight. Target did a great job with these shoes and hope that more great shoes like these are aviable.

These are now the highest heels I own. Although I had doubts I could even walk well in them, they aren't too bad and they certainly look hot! I couldn't stand all day in them but they will be great for situations where I will be sitting - or even reclining ;)
Anyway, these are a very fashion forward offering from Target and I hope they continue to be bold and daring in their merchandising.

I am an avid wearer of high heels that are 4+ inches tall. It is a rarity that you find really tall heels in a department store...so I was excited to see these on my way through Target. The heel is much higher than described on here. If you are not used to wearing really high heels, you will want to try these on in the store first. I think they are quite comfortable and roomy...and still have that sexy look to them. I have worn them all day with plenty of walking and I am sold. I just hope they hold up well.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have been looking for a pair of patent leather shoes with a higher heel and couldn't believe I would find them at Target. I wish they would come in a wide width but they are still comfortable the way they are. I love walking in the higher heels, I think it looks sooo sexy. I also went back and bought the navy color.

I absolutely love these shoes! Great price, and if you're not used to walking in high heels, they take a bit of practice, but the fit is nice, so you don't feel like you'll fall out. Very sexy, these shoes and I had a nice conversation prior to purchase, and my boyfriend bought them.

They're a little slippery, though. Some cushion or mole skin works on the inside, but do scuff up the bottoms before walking much, they slip easily. But I really love them alot and can't wait for the ooh's and aah's from the girls in the office!

When I first found these shoes online, I was thrilled! I am 5'9" with a size 9 1/2 or 10 foot, and I am accustomed to walking in very high heels (up to 6 inches if they have a platform). I'd been looking for a pair of simple black dress shoes with a heel over 4 1/2 inches. These sounded perfect, so I ordered them (and the navy ones) in a 9 1/2 immediately. When I received them in the mail, they were perfect. Beautiful, and the 9 1/2 fit perfectly. They were the most comfortable high heels I'd ever bought, and they never even needed to be broken in! All was well until about 2 1/2 weeks later when the material cracked on the outside of the left shoe. The next day, the crack split open. Then the material ripped at the edge (foot opening) and I almost sprained my ankle falling out of them. Figuring it must be a [......], I returned them (with my online slip, and Target gave me no problems) and ordered a second pair. This time the seam on the inner right shoe came unglued after a week, and again the material ripped at the edge, practically causing me to sprain my ankle again. I returned those (again, with no problems), but unfortunately I can't bring myself to buy a third pair! P.S: So far the navy pair has given me no problems, but I've only worn them 4 or 5 times!

This is an excellent pair of pumps for the price..simple yet very, very sexy! The patent leather is very nice..not too glossy..just right. But take caution as the heel is VERY high! I bought them in the store & had to take caution with the first few steps. Overall the shoe is very true to size. Nice choice for the price!

I adore the way these look on. Totally perfect and striking heel. You will need to put in some cushion on the ball of the foot though so I suggest going up a half size to do so. I will only wear them when I don't do much walking either, but I'm a bit newer to high heels anyway, so maybe this is just me.
