Disappointment June 19, 2009 Reviewer:  Disappointed Mom See all my reviews >

I found that the range from my home was only about 1/2 mile. Plus a GMARS license is required from the FCC to legally use in the US. This costs a bigger price for a 5-yr. period. I am very disappointed in this producet and would actually rate it below 1 star if possible.

No ability to use headset on vox mode, i.e., not useful for biking, etc. How is it that a company that has made millions of radios overlooked this? Plug in a pair of headsets into a pair of these radios on vox and they lock into transmit until cycling the power and removing the headsets. If any other brand can do this right why not motorola? Dont support this manufacturer with such stupid design and obviously zero user input or testing.
