Great exercise routine February 7, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy customer (Dallas, TX)  See all my reviews >

I have been using My Fitness Coach for the past 3 weeks. It provides the same quality workout that I would get from a class at my gym, but I can do it at home. You choose what type of workout you want to do (cardio, upper body, lower body, yoga, flexibility, or core), how long you want to exercise & what type of equipment you have (weights, ball, step...). My only criticism is that there is not a lot of verbal instruction on how to do the exercises or cueing on when to change positions (which makes the yoga workout very difficult) & there is a long pause between resistance exercises (I usually do more reps during the rest break). Overall, a great purchase!

Skip the Wii Fit board- get this March 29, 2009 Reviewer:  Katherine Modrak "Sewmom" Real Name (Sterling Heights, MI, USA)  See all my reviews >

I got a Wii fit for Christmas. Got bored waiting to "talk" about the workout instead of working out. I got this about two weeks ago and have had much better results and feel like my time is not wasted "talking" about it. Many variables let the personal trainer set the work out to your fitness level and changing the focus area of the workout keeps the routines varied. The trainer adds whatever equipement you have to the workout or skips the extras if you don't have them. (Hand weights, balance ball and aerobic step) Highly recommend this product. MUCH better than the Wii fit for working out. I still use the Wii Fit for fun and games but NOT for serious excerise.

An Awesome Alternative to a Pricey Gym Membership! March 22, 2009 Reviewer:  In Shape Mom of 2 (CT)  See all my reviews >

I've been working out with a friend, using an expensive video series she bought through an infomercial. We've had good results, but the discs get very repetitive after a while. After several cancellations due to bad weather or sickness, I decided to buy "My Fitness Coach" to use when I couldn't get to my friend's house. It was the best reasonable price I've spent in a long time. The workouts are never the same (and more fun than the yoga and strength exercises on Wii Fit). I can choose to workout for as little as 15 minutes if I don't have much time, but usually I try to do an hour. You can work on specific areas (lower body, upper body, core, yoga, cardio, etc.) with whatever equipment you own (balance ball, hand weights, etc.) or none at all. It adapts your workout to how you answer certain questions. For me, one of the best parts is the "tutorial" feature. I have a tendency to get tripped up in aerobics classes, so I always avoided them. With "MY Fitness Coach", if you don't quite understand the move, click on "tutorial", and Maya (the animated personal trainer) will slow the move way down and "talk" you through it.

I've had this "game" for about three months now, and I still love it! I can feel the muscles that I've worked the day before, and I've definitely seen an improvement in my form, my body, and my stamina, as well as in my attitude. It's perfect for SAHMs who don't have the time or money to go to a gym or hire a personal trainer. Buy it now!

The greatest February 25, 2009 Reviewer:  ol'red (OH)  See all my reviews >

I bought this to use along side of my WiiFit. I actually use it alot more than the WiiFit as it is a great workout. Maya (personal trainer in the game) is great and changes the workouts so you don't do the same routines over and over. Be honest when she asks you questions or your not going to get the best workout. I lost 10lbs in one month using this 4 times a week. Absoultely worth the money if you like working out at home instead of heading to the gym.

The best workout ever February 25, 2009 Reviewer:  Working Mom "Working Mom" (Phoenixville, PA)  See all my reviews >

My husband and I bought this game as we could never find the WiiFit. However, two weeks ago we found WiiFit and I have to say I was not as thrilled as everyone said I should be. My husband felt the same way and we ended up taking the WiiFit back to the store. Had a much better work out with "My Fitness Coach" then any work out I have ever had before. Plus, I can do it on my time not anyone elses time.
I recommend this to anyone who has a Wii.

Don't buy Wii Fit or Jillian Michaels - buy this! May 27, 2009 Reviewer:  Indy mom See all my reviews >

The Wii Fit is a fun game, but doesn't do a ton for your overall fitness. Jillian Michaels is the biggest joke of a game and you might as well be playing a pc game as it doesn't respond to the wii board or remote most of the time. My fitness coach is awesome! Maya actually customizes your workout to fit your level and your needs ... much cheaper than a personal trainer and you can do it whenever you want! You can't beat the program for the money!

Very Pleased July 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy Exerciser See all my reviews >

I have owned the Wii Fit for a year. At first, I liked it because it made working out fun. However, it wasn't much of a workout since it doesn't really get your heartrate up and you have to keep stopping in between activities. I read the reviews for My Fitness Coach and decided to buy it. I am so glad I did. I have been using it for about 5-6 weeks and am so happy. It is a great workout that not only gets your heartrate up, but also really tones all areas of your body. It is fun, but really gives you a workout. No matter what area you choose to work on, it hits all areas of your body during the workout. It just hits the area you chose more. I love that you can pick the amount of time you workout and you don't have to stop in between. I also love that you can use the equipment (step, hand weights) you own at home during your workout. It is a perfect balance between cardio and toning. Definitely worth the purchase.

Just as good as a class at the gym August 26, 2009 Reviewer:  new mom (VA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I have been an active person for a long time, but was struggling with losing the baby weight after my first child. I've had My Fitness Coach for a week now, and I am already shrinking back to my pre-pregnancy size much faster than I had thought.
I also take Body Attack (an intense workout program) at my local gym, and there is hardly a difference between Body Attack and My Fitness Coach. It is definitely worth buying and you can do it whenever you want, however long you want to do it.

Equipment July 31, 2009 Reviewer:  Gabby's Mom See all my reviews >

I was wondering do I need to buy any additional equipment for the My Fitness Coach? I have weights and a yoga mat. I was reading the reviews and it seems like it would be a great work-out. I like the fact it's not repetious like other work-out dvds. The video store I rent movies from has Wii games, if My Fitness Coach is there, I will rent it before buying. Just to make sure I will like it.
