not even six months old, and all the drawers fell apart, I even reassembled and glued, and the bottoms fell out, no supportand the seams didn't fit right.

I've had this same dresser for 5yrs for my daughter. I'm getting ready to order one for my boys bed room. I love it! I love the color and the dresser fits enough clothes. I would recommend it to anyone.

I got this thing and thought all the bad reviews were so wrong...until I put something in the drawers!!! OMG!!! I'm a college graduate that reads well!!! I am able to make the best of all instructions and I'm 1000% I put it together correctly, even had it double-checked behind myself. This thing just would NOT hold clothes or anything else for that matter and fell every time we pulled it out!!! I took it back to the store TODAY!!! I'm so over furniture ordered over the internet, even from Target, my favorite store!

furniture. This item was falling apart. You have to be very careful putting the screws in. If you screw to tight the wood will brake apart.this should definetly be a clearance item it is not worth a 129.00.

I was really skeptical about buying this furniture because of all the bad reviews, but it was the only thing my husband and I could afford. We purchased the headboard, the platform bed, a nightstand, the chest, and the dresser. All of them came packaged tightly--to the point I had issues opening the packages to get everything out. Nothing was scratched or broken. It took me about 5 days to put everything together. I did this BY MYSELF and had only one issue with the directions--they had switched the names of two of the pieces. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to put this stuff together, you just need a little common sense. (Which it appears that we're running out of in this day and age.) Because of the reviews we put Gorilla Glue along the edges of the drawers to seal them in more tight. My husband keeps one of the drawers as his "junk drawer" and it is filled to the brim with books, sunglasses, papers, and odds and ends of things. It's HEAVY and it's on the top. No problems whatsoever with it breaking. We LOVE our furniture and have had NO ISSUES with anything--except dusting dark furniture is a butt. lol :)

I've had my chest for 9 yrs and I have not had any problems with it, just resently a handle came off, but it should not be hard to repair. I am planning on buying another one.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!!!!
I purchased 5 pieces of this Chocolate set. Of the 5 pieces, 3 of them were broken. I called Target Guest Services and after 2 hours on the phone with non-english speaking folks, they finally figured out I was not particularly happy about this. They sent me the 3 replacement items, upon receipt, I discovered that 2 of these 3 pieces were broken!!!!!! You can imagine my extreme disappointment, even more so with the response from Guest Services and there complete unwillingness to help me solve this problem.
This furniture is nothing more than cardboard GARBAGE!!!!!! Spend the extra money and get something that will last!

You see the price tag and you think wow cheap! While your putting the chest together you can feel how cheap it is. When you've put it together and take a step back to get a good a look you can see how extremely cheap it is. The drawers went into their cheap plastic sliders with some effort and they were just plain crooked after. It's imperfections are extremely apparent. Whether you want to buy this chest or not is ultimately is choice so choose wisely.

I bought this chest and the matching nightstand over a year ago. I put both pieces together myself with little trouble. The set has held up very well - it even survived a move with minimum damage - and nothing is falling apart. I would highly recommend this collection.

When it arrived, the outside panel of the dresser had a large dent in it. I put this together myself with very limited construction knowledge- instructions are very simple and easy to understand. I had a few problems with dowels not fitting in on the bottom piece, but luckily that piece is decorative and not part of the shelves. It looks like a much more expensive piece.
