I live in an apartment, so I did not want a full bedroom suite because I wanted room to move about my room ;D. So I opted for the tall drawer chest to save room but have enough room for my husband's and my clothing. This drawer chest worked out great! It adds elegance to an otherwise bland room without taking too much space.

I bought the chest along with the dresser and night table. The set is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The quality is great too, especially for the price. It might not be wood but it gets the job done!

Putting this together was simple because I had built the night table and the dresser before. If this is the only piece you're going to build be sure you have an electric screwdriver and a hammer, and don't be afraid to pound hard on the plastic tracks, otherwise they won't go in too easy. Getting this built does take a bit of elbow grease and patience, so if you don't like to work this chest might not be for you. If you don't losing a bit of sweat get it and the end result will be well worth it!

I was really skeptical about buying this furniture because of all the bad reviews, but it was the only thing my husband and I could afford. We purchased the headboard, the platform bed, a nightstand, the chest, and the dresser. All of them came packaged tightly--to the point I had issues opening the packages to get everything out. Nothing was scratched or broken. It took me about 5 days to put everything together. I did this BY MYSELF and had only one issue with the directions--they had switched the names of two of the pieces. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to put this stuff together, you just need a little common sense. (Which it appears that we're running out of in this day and age.) Because of the reviews we put Gorilla Glue along the edges of the drawers to seal them in more tight. My husband keeps one of the drawers as his "junk drawer" and it is filled to the brim with books, sunglasses, papers, and odds and ends of things. It's HEAVY and it's on the top. No problems whatsoever with it breaking. We LOVE our furniture and have had NO ISSUES with anything--except dusting dark furniture is a butt. lol :)

I bought this bedroom set (6-drawer, night table, & headboard) a year ago and have not had any issues. I did not have any difficulties putting the set together by myself, however I did use a drill to help me along. After reading some of the previous reviews I decided to add extra glue to all of the drawers and it has held everything together really well. I would recommend the set to anyone needing a bedroom set, but does not want to spend the big bucks.

Yes, the dresser was a little hard to put together... until I got a hammer! Once I had a hammer and banged everything into place it worked out fine. I was a little disappointed that the slides are made of plastic, and I hope they don't give in, but as of now it is working fine and looks like it cost a lot more than it did. It seems to be sturdy as of now... and I have a 32 inch television on it so it better stay that way!

I put this dresser together by myself. I am a 21-year old female. If I can do it, so can you. Just make sure you have a hammer and a phillips-head screwdriver.

It looks nice. I needed something small to fit in a nook (used to be a twin-sized murphybed) in my little studio apartment in Manhattan.

I am pleased.

I have had no problems what-so-ever. The drawers are all aligned properly, nothing was cracked, All parts arrived in one piece and on time, didn't take forever to put up. I mean, I'm not bad with building stuff (I'm not a ditz) but I'm no wrench wielding construction woman either. Took me and my daughter about 30 minutes to assemble. She was the "holder" of the small bits and pieces and the narrator of the instructions and I was the "bob the builder".
It was fun... We screwed it up a few times (Put a panel on backwards, OOPS! lol Our fault) But all in all what went wrong was our own stupidity... and it caused a few good laughs. She loves this. It's tall enough to put a small tv on and she also has knick-knacks up there now. It's sterdy (I mean... It's not made of solid wood folks. You get what you paid for) but it looks great. It was a nice touch to the collection... made the room a bit more "homey". She loves it. I love it.. Buy it! It's worth the price. I bought (pretty much) the whole collection and have yet to have a problem with any of it.

I did not read the reviews at all before I added this to our wedding registry, and I am so glad I did not because it would have scared us away! These set was the only thing that matched our room theme and that we felt was reasonably priced enough to add to our registry. We got the taller dresser and the night stand 3 months ago, put everything together according to the directions, and we love them so far! We haven't had any issues with anything falling apart! One thing I will mention is that it would have been nice if the nightstand had come with the scratch filler-marker, but it only came with the dresser, which I learned after I had already gone out searching for one at the store when I scratched the nightstand while assembling it. No big deal though.

not even six months old, and all the drawers fell apart, I even reassembled and glued, and the bottoms fell out, no supportand the seams didn't fit right.

I got this thing and thought all the bad reviews were so wrong...until I put something in the drawers!!! OMG!!! I'm a college graduate that reads well!!! I am able to make the best of all instructions and I'm 1000% I put it together correctly, even had it double-checked behind myself. This thing just would NOT hold clothes or anything else for that matter and fell every time we pulled it out!!! I took it back to the store TODAY!!! I'm so over furniture ordered over the internet, even from Target, my favorite store!
