Looks Expensive!! GREAT value! June 2, 2007 Reviewer:  J. Lind "In need of furniture!" Real Name (Tucson, AZ)  See all my reviews >

Wow! I love it! I must say though, don't attempt to put this together without a cordless drill or you will kill your screwdriver & your wrist! With the drill it only took about a half hour. I am amazed for the price how expensive it looks. The cutout in the top makes it look pretty fancy. Its not heavy wood, but noone will know! Buy it!!

The headboard is bigger than the platform bed April 27, 2007 Reviewer:  Melody S. Smith "Chocolate Lover...." Real Name (Burlington, WI, USA)  See all my reviews >

Ok, straight to the point...the headboard is 9" bigger than the bottom base of the platform bed frame. This headboard is meant for a regular full/queen frame. NOT a platform bed. It just won't fit. If you improvise and add another piece of wood to the headboard you can attach it to the platform base, but it's still wobbily and not very effective. Or do what I did and screw it into the wall. It stays then. Sorry that's the truth. It's a very pretty head board, but the width is wrong and should be re-thought of and reconstructed to fit the width of the platform bed frame.

Functional yet needs TLC January 25, 2008 Reviewer:  Mark Brewer "Ph.D." Real Name (Beaverton, OR, USA)  See all my reviews >

This is a relativly good value yet it should be noted that the laminate or "chocolate covering" is very easily scratched and/or peeled back from the underlying particle board. This would defiinely not hold up under constant "touching" or rough treatment as in a child's room. It is very eligant looking in general but under close inspection one can see that it is clearly an inexpensive piece of furniture. I am very happy with it in a spare bedroom and intend to order the rest of the suite.

Awsome headbord regardless of the price! September 21, 2007 Reviewer:  Landon's Mom (Martinsburg, WV)  See all my reviews >

I ordered this headboard on a Sunday and I received it by Thursday! It took me no more than a half an hour to put it together! The directions were really clear and easy to understand. When my husband got home, all he had to do was carry it up the stairs,(it is on the heavy side)and attach it to the bedframe. The only downside to this headboard is that it only comes with screws to mount it to a platform bed, so just plan ahead and buy carriage bolts to mount it to a regular metal frame. The look is amazing and the quality is better than $100+ headboards that I looked at before finding this one.

Looks good June 25, 2007 Reviewer:  Carefulshopper "Nancy P" (Seattle, WA USA)  See all my reviews >

I'm pleased with the purchase. This headboard looks very elegant, especially considering the price. It was easy to put together (no harder than Ikea bookcases). My one "nit pick" would be that bolts should be included. I needed to buy them in order to secure to my metal bed frame.

Decent headboard March 11, 2008 Reviewer:  Melissa (Holiday, FL, USA)  See all my reviews >

I found this headboard pretty easy to put together and I really like the way it looks. The only complaint I have is that it's slightly wobbly (it's made out of particle board, not wood), but other than that I think it's a great looking piece at a good price.

I just love it!! September 23, 2007 Reviewer:  Nisha P (Franklin, KY, USA)  See all my reviews >

I saw this headboard and had to have it. I love the color and the design. It was not hard to put together either, did it by myself. I have a queen bed that is just pushed up against it but thats how my previous one was so no big deal. As of now, I have this and the nightstand. I just ordered the mirror tonight. Im going to get the chest and the dresser in due time. Im going to be moving soon so I just wanted something new for myself. Im glad I made this choice.

Just thought I'd say LOOK AT THE PRICE. Of COURSE it's made of ply wood with a "wood" finish! It's inexpensive! I bought this for my foster daughter and I am VERY pleased with it. It looks expensive, elegant.. The whole collection is amazing and WOW did my savings account love it too! (So affordable!) I could actually make someone feel at home for under 500 bucks... All this new stuff means a new life for Emma, and this collection raised her spirit and even her self esteem. It looks SO nice! Imagine being 16 and being able to finally say for the first time "This is MY room"... This is, by far, one of my favorite and most important (but inexspensive) investments! Good for the money! Looks great!

GREAT for the price!!! March 24, 2009 Reviewer:  I'm smart, are you? "Cathy B." (Topeka, KS, USA)  See all my reviews >

I was really skeptical about buying this furniture because of all the bad reviews, but it was the only thing my husband and I could afford. We purchased the headboard, the platform bed, a nightstand, the chest, and the dresser. All of them came packaged tightly--to the point I had issues opening the packages to get everything out. Nothing was scratched or broken. It took me about 5 days to put everything together. I did this BY MYSELF and had only one issue with the directions--they had switched the names of two of the pieces. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to put this stuff together, you just need a little common sense. (Which it appears that we're running out of in this day and age.) Because of the reviews we put Gorilla Glue along the edges of the drawers to seal them in more tight. My husband keeps one of the drawers as his "junk drawer" and it is filled to the brim with books, sunglasses, papers, and odds and ends of things. It's HEAVY and it's on the top. No problems whatsoever with it breaking. We LOVE our furniture and have had NO ISSUES with anything--except dusting dark furniture is a butt. lol :)
