My daughter and son-in-law gave me this dehydrator for Christmas... As an avid hiker and backpacker, this dehydrator allows me to make homemade meals for long backpacking treks.... after planning out and preparing meals, I dehydrate it (one serving per tray) then seal it in foodsaver bags. I made large amounts of trail mixes (dehydrated various fruits and mixed with mixed nuts)and turkey jerky.

This is the first dehydrator that I've owned and so far so good. By biggest concern was how easy would it be to clean, and it turns out it's not so bad. I definitely recommend it.
