Everyones skin is different, but it made my skin un even and dry, and I will definitely not be buying again!

My mother bought this product for me, and at first, I was a bit hesitant about using the product. But after I started to use the product, I noticed changes immediately. Acne scars on my face appeared lighter and there was a reduction of pimples on my face. Even my mum commented on how light I was getting because the acne system lightened my scars and at the same time, gave the appearance of even skin tone. Friends and acquaintances have also commented on the changes on my face. So, I would definitely recommend this product. I've used expensive products, dermatoloigst-referred products, and products I've seen over the internet; none of them had the same effect. So while those products sit on my bathroom counter, I use the Neutrogena Acne Therapy System. And again, I highly recommend this product and any other product in the Neutrogena line.

this product works well for me. while it doesnt completely cure acne, it has a good balance of acne medicine and face lotion so that my face does not become dry and oily, i really like it. just make sure you dont rely on it to get rid of acne on the first try.

This is the only thing that works for me. I use the cleanser twice a day and the night cream every night. Although I do not use the moisturizer because it is too oily for me, everything else works too good to not buy the kit for that reason. I struggled with acne for a year and nothing worked including proactive and clinique, until I started using this. I have been using it for over a year and have found nothing better.

You just have to make sure that you are precise & using it correctly. If you don't, it can end up making your acne worse. Use the face cleanser under lukewarm water! Too hot or too cold water can take away the moisture in your skin. Don't use too much. Squeeze it on your hands and GENTLY Massage it on your face! Don't be harsh on it! After cleanse it with water. Don't scrub your face but gently wet it until it has completely washed off. Now the Lotion you have to be careful with. Don't apply it on non-affected areas of your face because it can severely dry out that area and possibly can cause acne there. (Personal experience) Apply a Thin layer on the affected area of the skin. Don't use too much. Only a little bit and that's it. I recommend it to use it only once per day, in the afternoon or evening. Sure, you can use the sunblock, but it didn't work for me, so I only used the face cleanser and lotion itself. After, leave it on for a while, then wash it off using a non scented moisturizing soap. After, PAT the skin dry. Same goes for after using the cleanser. Wiping will take away moisture from your skin. When dry, apply lotion that moisturizes your skin. Even if you have dry or oily skin, keep on moisturizing because benzoyl peroxide can really dry your skin up. Before when I first got the product, I wasn't using it correctly and made my acne worse. I stopped then went back to it because soap and water didn't completely get rid of it. Now it works wonders for me and purchase a set every 2 months or so. (by the way, once your acne has cleared up using this, only use the facial cleanser itself to prevent new acne from coming) I know it takes up a lot of work to achieve it but trust me, it's all worth it in the end.

This product was o.k., I would not buy it again. I also didn't notice a difference either. It also didn't make my skin worse either, so that's a plus.

I used this for about 3 days and I'm so uncomfortable in my skin right now. It made my face red like I got a bad sunburn. I've been itching and scratching like nobody's business. Under my eyes and from my jawline down is the worst of the itching. Around my eyes I'm puffy. Around my mouth, it's burning and flaking. My forehead has exploded in acne. My hands are super dry and my arms are itchy with hives from the runoff going down them when I wash my face. Bad news bears!

i have tried just about EVERYTHING, and ive only used this product for four full days but so far i love it (knock on wood) i have like a million whiteheads on my face, and slowly but surely they are dissappearing (knock on wood) however, this product does have a couple of drawbacks...so the second day i was using it, the third step burned my face for several minutes after applying the lotion. also, the third day my face became immensly dry! today (the fourth day) my face was peeling!! it was all around my mouth and under my nose and it was really gross and bothersome!

like everyone else out there i've tried a lot of other acne products, like proactiv and clean & clear, and this one works the best. :) i have pretty bad acne and it didn't work right away for me, it did take some time and even when it did it didn't clear up completely. when it did "clear" up my skin it cleared for about 3 weeks, then i'd breakout pretty bad again on the fourth. What it did do is reduce the appearance of pimples/scars and left my skin really soft! :) what it also did for me was clear up the tiny bumps (i think they're whiteheads) i got from both proactiv and clean & clear and kept it clear! overall i definitely recommend this product, it's worth a try

Having been seasoned in using acne medication for the last 10+ years, I can without a doubt say this is the worse stuff I have ever put on my face! I toughed it out for a week as the package does caution some burning and only did the treatment once a day, after a week I am now red and blotchy, more acne than before, and skin flaking everywhere. I don't even have sensitive skin either! The burning got worse as the week went on and I couldn't take it anymore!
I've had pretty good luck with Neutrogena products in the past so this surprised me.
