It's very handy for darker areas when the stock camera flash isn't bright enough. Bouncing the flash off a ceiling to light up a whole room is my favorite now! The extra picture quality it gives just by lighting surprises even me all the time. Also good on battery's. The settings are amazing and easy to use and the different adjusting angles is very handy. Well worth the money I'd say!

But I give it 3 stars for bulkiness because its almost as big as the camera is its self. but maybe its just me but I still love it anyway!
