Bought this mixer used it once and am taking it back! The lowest setting is way too powerful, it's impossible to mix ingredients and blend at a low speed, I would not suggest this mixer for anyone who loves baking it over-beats batter, which true bakers know is a very bad thing!

We LOVE this mixer! I can't help but feel like a professional chef with all the cool attachments this mixer comes with! I agree with the other posters about the power inside this little machine. It IS very powerful, even on the 1st speed level. The retractable cord is a giant plus too!!!

I was super excited to get this mixer. I LOVE the retractable cord and the different beaters and stuff. BUT this thing has way to much power. Even using a large bowl stuff flies everywhere! The lowest speed is turbo in my opinion. Even with all the cool features I'm taking this back. I'm tired of half my ingredients ending up on the floor and the walls and the counters and ME!

I loved this mixer.. Loved being the operative word. It was the right size with great power... I am an avid baker, but only used this mixer for my frostings. I bought it in January and it just stopped working for me today (12/10/08).. In the middle of making 3 batches of butter cream frosting and 2 days before I am to make my daughters birthday cake.. at least I can still go out an buy a new one...so as I said I loved it and since it was not that expensive, i'm not going to be that upset that I have to go purchase another one of the same model... Enjoy!

I love it. I used Hamilton Beach before but it broke in 6 months so I bought this one. It is better and more effective. What I love about this products are it comes with all the hooks you need for baking and cooking and retracable cord. It is not too light or too heavy just perfect weight.

The moment I turned the mixer on I knew we would get along very well. Even on the lowest speed it seemed more powerful than any mixer I've ever owned. I was pleasantly surprised, because the price was lower than other brand name mixers at Target, so I expected it to be correspondingly weaker. Instead, I feel like I got a great deal. It seems sturdily made, and is unfortunately a bit heavy - but that's to be expected with a strong motor. It has a bowl rest to help offset the weight. It came with quite a few attachments, although so far I've only used the traditional beaters. I feel certain this mixer will be useful for a long time.

I bake quite often and have had good experiences with this mixer. It's balanced/heavy enough that you can leave it perched over the side of a mixing bowl without the bowl tipping over. Also, the mixers and dough hooks work wonderfully. I don't really use the whisk or cocktail attachments, so can't comment. The only thing I don't like is that the cord is too short. It's about 30 inches, which doesn't allow me enough room to move around. Also, cord is retractable, which is a plus.
