Just as advertised. February 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Susan Matney Real Name (Seaside, OR United States)  See all my reviews >

I ordered this mirror for our bedroom closet door. It shipped very quickly and was very easy to screw the brackets onto the mirror. It looks great and what is neat about this mirror is that it can be moved very easily if you want to put it on another door. Great deal for the price!

DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU INTEND TO HANG! Ridiculous! Ugh! NO!! June 30, 2009 Reviewer:  Target Customer See all my reviews >

DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU INTEND TO HANG! To hang this mirror, you're supposed to "screw" 2 little screws (tiny, minuscule screws) into cardboard... Ummm no! You can't screw screws into cardboard!!! It just doesn't work! Duh! This is just ridiculous!

Mirror is good-looking though... so as long as you don't want to hang it, go for it...

Liked it so much I ordered 2 more August 28, 2009 Reviewer:  Satisfied Customer See all my reviews >

Ordered two of these and liked them so much I ordered two more. I received both shipments quickly, and all hardware (hooks, screws, etc) came with the mirrors.

Earlier reviews mentioned that the screws for the hooks weren't very "stable" since they simply poked into the thin cardboard in the back of the mirror.

I agree. So, to resolve that issue, once we installed the hooks, we put fortified tape (duct tape, heavy-duty packaging tape, etc) across the upper 1/3 of the back of the mirror (across the screws and hooks). This gave it the stability it needed, and there are no worries about the screws popping out or the mirror falling off of the door.

We're very pleased with our mirrors and would recommend them to anyone looking for a low-profile over-the-door mirror!

Cheap Hanging Hooks and Backing June 10, 2009 Reviewer:  Hannah (Boston, MA)  See all my reviews >

This mirror is definitely better than the ones you see at the hardware store. And I didn't have any problems with my doors closing over the hooks (which are pretty slim). However, the way you attach the hooks to the mirror is very cheap and I'm kind of afraid the mirror will fall at any moment. The backing of the mirror is just a sheet of cardboard, and it comes with two tiny screws to screw in the metal hooks. So the screw goes through a thin sheet of cardboard and then into the back of the plastic frame of the mirror... It looks like it could go at any second. I've only had the mirror up for a couple days, so we'll see.

That being said, it's a nice looking mirror. Except that if it is up against a door with an uneven surface (i.e. depressed squares that are common on wooden doors), you can see the cardboard backing.

Great buy for the money June 10, 2009 Reviewer:  Frugal Fashionista (Mobile, AL)  See all my reviews >

I was pleased with my purchase. The mirror has the option to hang over the door or to attach directly to the wall or door. Don't pay extra to have the hangers sent to you with the mirror. the same mirror is available inside target without the hangers. I would buy the hangers at a home improvement store for a few bucks and save almost on the shipping cost. The crazy cost to return ship kinda makes you stuck with the mirror if you would like to return it. Keep that in mind when you make this purchase.

Over-the-Door Mirror July 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Brooklyn Phair Lady (Brooklyn, NY)  See all my reviews >

We just moved to a smaller apt. so I had to get rid of my standing full-length mirror, so I thought I'd try a couple of these out, one for our bedroom and one for the guest room. They were really easy to install (OK, my husband did it so it was real easy for me!) and they went right on our closet doors. Very convenient.

Your Door May Not Close with this Mirror May 6, 2009 Reviewer:  Satisfied Mom (Montclair, NJ)  See all my reviews >

This is a better quality item than the cheap door mirrors you see at the hardware store. I would have been perfectly satisfied except for the fact that the over the door hooks are too thick to allow the door jamb to close (seems like a basic engineering flaw). Note this item cannot be returned to Target stores (I tried), and Target won't pay for return shipping to the warehouse (the cost of which exceeds the price of the mirror). So BUYER BEWARE you may be stuck with a mirror you cannot use.

it finally arrived unbroken! April 11, 2009 Reviewer:  Condodweller (Long Isand City, NY)  See all my reviews >

I ordered this and it arrived broken. Thankfully, Target did not make me send it back but said I could throw it away. They sent another but the delivery person dropped it in the truck and broke it. Target shipped me an unbroken one really fast. It looks great and I just have to decide which door to fasten it to.

Solid Value October 28, 2009 Reviewer:  On Target! "Marcus V" (Northern New Jersey)  See all my reviews >

The mirror is a very good value for the dollar. I thought the frame would be thin but it was far better constructed than I had anticipated. As noted by prior reviews, the screws provided are small and do lend concern to the overall stability of the mirror when hung over the door. I simply replaced the screws when installing with thicker, not longer ones, and that allowed for more bite into the plastic molding ensuring that they would not pull out over time. I definitely recommend this item based on appearance versus price!

Don't Buy! October 25, 2009 Reviewer:  Unhappy Grad Student See all my reviews >

While the mirror looks nice online I received it in pieces. The cost of shipping is the same as the mirror itself. The identical mirror can be found at other stores for much cheaper. Do yourself the favor!
