This is a great amount of comforter for the price! The true baffle box construction makes it good as new for quite some time. We had a non-baffle box down comforter and over the course of two years came to hate the thing.

The only thing the buyer should know is that being over sized, many duvet covers are a bit smaller. This posed no real problems to us since there is just more "padding" within the duvet. It actually came out to be a bit wider than the duvet, and we are using a Fieldcrest duvet.

The baffle box stitching is also not nearly as noticeable as in the picture above. You can hardly tell it is true baffle box unless you look extremely close. Get a King for a Queen bed and you will never run out of covers!

After putting a duvet on this.. it gets very hot under there for me at night! But it is so comfortable that I feel it is worth it. My husband has no problem with "over-heating" at night so for those of you who are cold throughout the night - its perfect for you!

This comforter sounds like just what I am looking for as a replacement for one nearly 20 yrs. old BUT without the exact dimensions I won't purchase it because I have one of those very thick pillowtop mattresses and a thick mattress pad. It has been my experience that most blankets run too narrow and too short so I need measurements please...like sheets, if it says fits 19-20" deep mattress I know I have a good fitted sheet. My other question is how many ounces of down fill is actually in this comforter, not the 550 fill power but the actual fill?

Oh, I am familiar with Pacific Coast and they are great, so I would expect this product to last many years if cleaned right; I take mine up to the big washer at the Laundromat and use perm press or gentle cycle to wash & rinse but spin it out on regular and dry on gentle. If it's a twin size I do it at home. I use down year round; with a duvet in winter, but alone so it can breathe, the rest of the year,especially summer when it is routinely 118 degrees where I live.
If I had the missing information I need I'm sure my rating would be 5 stars instead of 4. Thanks.

Fluffs up by just shaking, pure down and so cozy, this is very generous in size too. I am so happy with this one.

I purchased this comforter 6 months ago. I read in another review before buying that it was cloud-like and it is so true! It's so pillow-y and fluffy that it's delightful to snuggle in. I love the baffle box construction - I've had several down comforters in my life and each one I've had to constantly shake and rotate to attempt to keep the feathers fairly even and I haven't had to adjust this one once! One note of caution - it is very warm! This made it a great bed topper for the winter but I'm guessing I'll need to get something more light-weight for the warmer months approaching - oh well, another opportunity to change up my look for a new season :)

This arrived yesterday and last night I slept with it. LOVED IT. I was the perfect temp all night long. It's getting cold at night in Chicago and I was warm and toasty, but not TOO warm. It has a nice fill power too. I would definitely recommend this.

We recently received our King size comforter and we love it. Have been looking for a new one for quite awhile, but couldn't find one to give us those extra inches to fit the bed ( and us ) comfortly . This one does, And it is so warm. We live in a cold climate so we appreciate the warmth.

So how big is this thing really? I am registering for my wedding and I need to know what size duvet to register for to fit this item. I gave it 4 stars cause they failed to state the measurements but i will take the other reviewers word for it and say that its a pretty good product. Until i try it for myself then maybe it might change. :)
