I bought this when my daughter was 1 year old and she is almost 6 and still plays with it. I bought it at BJ's so long ago and swore if I ever saw it again I would buy 3 to keep as gifts. Glad to see they still sell it ;) I would DEFINATELY recommend.

My one year old was exploring this toy and was playing with the bottom "cover". When he opened the cover, his hand and fingers can get pinched bad when it's placed in the corners of the botton cover.

Its good to have a toy that neither lights up or makes noise but encourages the childs imagination.

We've had this toy for a really, really long time and I don't recall any problems. My daughter never used it as a walker I think because this is really heavy. She loves stacking the blocks, but watch out for the solid wood ones tho. Hide the wooden blocks if your child is at the throwing stage because it can easily knock someone out.

I got this toy as a hand-me-down from a lady who was moving... My daughter was 10 months at the time. It captured her attention right away due to the many colors and blocks... BUT, I do agree it does tip easily even with the rubber stopper. ALSO, the lids after wear and tear of kids opening and closing, falls down easily. My daughter was innocently playing with the cover and had her fingers on the side and poor thing didn't see it coming down, but it slammed on her. After then I would only let her play with it IF I was playing with her... Unfortunately, I had a son soon after, so we ended up throwing this away in fear of her lil' fingers getting hurt worse. I kept the blocks, though =)

I bought this toy about 2 years ago at a "warehouse" store (when they started to get their holiday toys in stock) - and for a lot less money.... I loved it for my first daughter! She had so much fun playing with it, and learning to walk with it! My second child, also a daughter loves it too, but she will climb up the "steps" and fall backwards off of them. I have to really watch her like a hawk when she is playing with this toy. I still gave it 5 stars though because it is great! Holds up very well with several kids, and is well built! Is it worth almost [the price], yes - but would I spend [full price] on it? NO. [...]

We bought this toy for our younger son as an Easter gift, and he has absolutely loved it. My older son finds the toy just as amusing as the little guy. We find the toy to be very durable, and looks like new still. I have noticed that just a couple of the wooden blocks that are painted have become chipped in some areas, but overall, this is a fantastic toy for your little ones. Be careful once they start walking--the toy can break toes because it is very heavy!!!!!

We have owned this for a year and a half. It's been a great toys in so many ways. The blocks are great, the soft ones are different textures and colors, great for tiny hands. The wooden ones have letters and pictures and are nice and heavy for building towers. The plastic blocks are good for teething too. My son has used this toy in some many ways. And now he is learning about numbers and colors while using them. He also uses it for a step stool and chair.
My only warning is that at first it was a bit heavy for a 12 month old to push around, taking the blocks out helps some but it's still pretty bulky and hard to turn. So if you are getting it just for the push toy, I'd look elsewhere.
I'm so happy we have this toy. Highly recommended!

My daughter received this toy as a Christmas gift in dec. She was only six months old so I did not think to take the blocks out of the bottom and inspect every single one of them. This was a big mistake because all of the paint came off the back and onto the edges of the blocks. Now she can not play with them. The paint is continuing to come off onto the other blocks. I called the company and they will not do anything. Not even replace just the blocks. I highly recommend that you do not purchase this item or any other items from this company. The representative was nice but they do not stand behind their products and with all the safety recalls I would not risk it.
