I bought this toy about 2 years ago at a "warehouse" store (when they started to get their holiday toys in stock) - and for a lot less money.... I loved it for my first daughter! She had so much fun playing with it, and learning to walk with it! My second child, also a daughter loves it too, but she will climb up the "steps" and fall backwards off of them. I have to really watch her like a hawk when she is playing with this toy. I still gave it 5 stars though because it is great! Holds up very well with several kids, and is well built! Is it worth almost [the price], yes - but would I spend [full price] on it? NO. [...]

Could be dangerous

I recently purchased for my 1yr old son. He's cruising furniture but not walking yet. I thought this would be perfect because it's solid wood and has some weight so it won't tip as easily as the plastic walkers. Well....my son likes to climb. He thinks it's a step stool and steps up onto the top part and grabs the handle and when he leans toward that handle the whole thing flips. It needs to have some anti-tip mechanism. We have wood floors so this is a bit dangerous because he obviously goes head first. He also likes to push it up to other things he can't get at and uses it to climb to get to those other things and since it has wheels it will start rolling when he's on the top reaching for something. Needless to say I either have to closely monitor him when playing with this walker or just take it away until he's done with this phase, if it is a phase. I guess it's safe if you don't have a child that likes to climb.

We bought this toy for our younger son as an Easter gift, and he has absolutely loved it. My older son finds the toy just as amusing as the little guy. We find the toy to be very durable, and looks like new still. I have noticed that just a couple of the wooden blocks that are painted have become chipped in some areas, but overall, this is a fantastic toy for your little ones. Be careful once they start walking--the toy can break toes because it is very heavy!!!!!

We have owned this for a year and a half. It's been a great toys in so many ways. The blocks are great, the soft ones are different textures and colors, great for tiny hands. The wooden ones have letters and pictures and are nice and heavy for building towers. The plastic blocks are good for teething too. My son has used this toy in some many ways. And now he is learning about numbers and colors while using them. He also uses it for a step stool and chair.
My only warning is that at first it was a bit heavy for a 12 month old to push around, taking the blocks out helps some but it's still pretty bulky and hard to turn. So if you are getting it just for the push toy, I'd look elsewhere.
I'm so happy we have this toy. Highly recommended!

My son got this Block Wagon on his first birthday. He is now 19 months old and still LOVES this walker. He pushes it around and loves to play with the blocks.I found it very educational. I was disappointed to see the other reviews about this wagon tiping over due to their children climbing up on it. This never happened to me, and if you are watching your child that would never happen to you! Its not the toy that is the problem... it's the parents!

Very dissatisfied with the company that makes the toy

My daughter received this toy as a Christmas gift in dec. She was only six months old so I did not think to take the blocks out of the bottom and inspect every single one of them. This was a big mistake because all of the paint came off the back and onto the edges of the blocks. Now she can not play with them. The paint is continuing to come off onto the other blocks. I called the company and they will not do anything. Not even replace just the blocks. I highly recommend that you do not purchase this item or any other items from this company. The representative was nice but they do not stand behind their products and with all the safety recalls I would not risk it.

This toy is expensive, and very, very heavy. It does not push well on carpet because the rubber stoppers will drag. My daughter is supervised by me all day, but has smashed her hand once in the storage area, which can happen, sit tried to sit on it when her hand was still under the storage door. In all honestly, it is expensive, bulky, heavy and takes up a lot of space if you don't have the room. It is colorful and comes with a lot of blocks.

My one year old was exploring this toy and was playing with the bottom "cover". When he opened the cover, his hand and fingers can get pinched bad when it's placed in the corners of the botton cover.

We've had this toy for a really, really long time and I don't recall any problems. My daughter never used it as a walker I think because this is really heavy. She loves stacking the blocks, but watch out for the solid wood ones tho. Hide the wooden blocks if your child is at the throwing stage because it can easily knock someone out.

So My daughter got this walker when she was 7 months old. By the time she was 8 months old she was walking without it. She still loves the blocks, and the step stool also. Yes it looks like they should climb on it and yes she did but even when she tries tipping it over now the stoppers won't let her. And let me tell you my child is adventurous, crawling at 4 months walking at 8, and now she is two and literally jumping off of walls. If your looking at buying this walker know that with any toy you are going to have to watch your child....although if you teach your kids to behave then you will have no problem at all!! Wonderful toy I would recommend it to anyone!
