I picked this fire place because of it's small width, I wanted a fireplace put in a spot that had a small width to fill but needed something there and since chairs, sofa and TV where out the question...and I wanted a fireplace for atmosphere it worked out perfectly. So it is small for a fireplace but it's perfect for me. It came in two boxes and my boyfriend Harry had to put it together piece by piece...the directions where pretty clear but Harry really did build it him self...the wood was just cut and stained but he was the builder...but lucky me to have such a handy guy at home...if you need help just let me know...maybe I'll let you borrow him for an hour because that is all it took for him to build it. I would recommend it to some one but beware it is small in width and height, get your measure tape out to see and you do have to assemble it piece by piece but when it's done it is so cute and the screen comes with it looks really really nice.
