Great TV May 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Satisfied Customer "elh" See all my reviews >

The picture quality is better then expected. And you can't beat the price. I would recommend getting an HD package through your cable or satellite provider, because the regular channels don't compare to the HD channels. GREAT!GREAT!GREAT! TV.

Be very careful September 27, 2009 Reviewer:  Leo S "Leo S" (Rochester, NY)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this TV in 05/09. The first one I got home with had bad speakers on it, at any volume level they would crack and pop. I took it back the next day and got a new one. The second one worked for about 2 weeks before it would get stuck on the power up screen and just say Philips. It would not react to the remote or controls on the TV. The only way to turn it off was to pull the plug. I took this back to Target and once again got a replacement model. Here I am less then 5 months later with the same issue on the phone with Philips because Target has passed the buck and stated its not their problem. Call Philips because the extending warranty I bought with the TV doesn't cover this.
I am now on the phone with Philips being told that, sorry the warranty doesn't cover a new TV. Call a repair guy to come out and fix it, that will be covered. A 5 month old TV that apparently will need to be repaired on a regular basis and neither Target or Philips are willing to do anything about this.
Be careful with this one because if you are the unlucky guy that get a bad one and doesn't realize the first time that you bought a bad TV,; 30 days later you are stuck with it and having to get its regular tune up.
So far this TV has not been worth the hassle.

Component failure June 27, 2009 Reviewer:  Shawn (Milford, CT)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this TV on June 20th and set it up as soon as i brought it home. 3 days later the components died out on it. No picture, just sound. Bought an HDMI cable for my xbox360 and plugged it in the first HDMI port, and sure enough, a few hours later that died out too. TV has great piture when it works. Called target, they let me return the TV even though i already threw out the box. The people in the electronic department told me that theyve been have alot of problems/returns with the philips tv. so be warned.

Component failure November 25, 2009 Reviewer:  Rahjeir (New Jersey)  See all my reviews >

I brought this TV back in June had no issues with it until I finally wanted to use the component input two months later. Problem was audio but no video. I called up Philips they gave me anumber of a local repair company. Company came to my house and said it was the "main board". Problem is it took Philips 3 months to send the company the part to repair my TV. At one point I had to call Philips everday to get them to do something. on Aug 11, I called for repair, TV was finally repaired on November 23.

What a pain, but a nice TV when it works.
