Description

Designed to keep air out of liquid so Baby can drink bubble free, the Playtex VentAire Newborn Gift Set makes a wonderful gift for the new little one. Bubble-free feeding reduces gas and spitting up, and the special VentAire system promotes semi-upright feeding, which is recommended by pediatricians to help prevent ear infections. The VentAire system works by filtering air through a unique vent in the bottom of the bottle, thereby reducing the amount of bubbles. Bottles open at both ends, making cleaning easy and complete. Includes two 6-oz. reusable bottles with stage 1 nipples, three 9-oz. reusable bottles with stage 2 nipples, 1 each extra stage 1 and stage 2 nipples, 2 extra bottle caps and 2 extra vent disks.

Best Bottles I've Used May 20, 2009 Reviewer:  M. Kane Real Name See all my reviews >

I bought these as a gift for my cousin's baby shower, but I have been using these bottles for my 9 month old son since he was born. They work great and really help prevent my son from sucking in air when he eats. The only down side is if you do not get the gaskets completely dry when you wash them, the bottle will leak from the bottom. Other than that they are great and we have tried several types of bottles and my son loves these the best.

Great bottle but... July 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Baltimore Blue Jacket "Jen E" (Frankfort, Ohio)  See all my reviews >

These bottles are wonderful. We tried several different brands and my daughter did the best with these. The only but about them is that the measurement printing is already starting to wear off after three weeks of use. We don't even have a dishwasher to accuse. Not a huge issue, we'll just mark them with a Sharpie but fair warning.

Love them and so does baby! March 7, 2009 Reviewer:  Kelly Brabec "Kamryn's mommy" Real Name (Yuba City, CA)  See all my reviews >

I bought one of these bottles to try out with our baby and loved it and so did she! We also bought a gerber nuk one and hated that so we stuck with these ones! The only thing I don't like is that numbers wearing off on the wide ones.. the numbers on the narrow ones are still there and we've had the bottles for the same amount of time! But I would definitely buy these again and again! And if they are leaking you just have the vent in wrong or the bottom not tight enough.. we've noticed that!

I am a young mother of 4 and I have used the bottles! they do occasionally leak if you do not have the bottom in right. I would recommend these bottles!

Awesome! December 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Momma of 2 "Kacie" (Houma La USA)  See all my reviews >

I had these bottles for my 4 y/o! Now I purchased them again for my new born. I had One that leeked so i called playtex, who replaced the bottle for me. And they also gave me a web site [...] to be able to order parts for them! After a while the bottoms do ware out and if you tend to loose the tops they also sell those. I thought that they would be expensive to replace but it is very reasonably priced. I would recommend these to any and everyone!

horrible bottles December 31, 2008 Reviewer:  Super Mom "Desi" (Los Angeles, CA)  See all my reviews >

These are the worst bottles ever! they leak all over the place. i bought these when my daughter was 6 months, and now she is nine months and i finally threw them out. they were a waste of my money. they leak like crazy, one day she was drinking her bottle and the [...] formula was leaking through the valve, that is not supposed to happen. I used Evenflo glass bottles besides these and I love the glass bottles but they get to heavy for my daughter to hold. I have now switched to dr. browns bpa free bottles and they are the best!!

please do not waste your money on these poorly made bottles!

Advanced bottles are not better than the original ventair January 28, 2009 Reviewer:  Mom of 2 "Damaris" (Middletown, CT)  See all my reviews >

I am the mother of a 10 month old, I have been using these bottles since my daughter was born. Once the bottles were changed to the new ventair advanced, they are terrible. The old ventair bottles did not leak and the ounce markers have never rubbed off, after months of use and boiling, I was able to find replacement vent disks on the Playtex website. The new advanced bottles leak after a week of use and the ounce markers rubbed off within a couple of days. What good is a bottle if I can't tell how many ounces of formula I'm putting into it.

Playtex has made the advanced bottles worse not better or more advanced.

I am now searching for new bottles for my baby.

Now Leaking January 4, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy Aunt! (Des Moines, IA)  See all my reviews >

These were pretty good at first...but the plastic pieces that go in the bottom are stretching out and they leak all over...its a complete mess and I don't recommend these at all. Now I'm in search of new bottles...will have to read more comments to see what everyone else switched to. LOL

They do Leak December 24, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom of Three Hungry Boys See all my reviews >

I bought these for my now four year old. But since then the design of the valve has changed and now they leak. Why change something that was not broken and did they not do test run on the new design? The old design was great! I think Playtex needs to fire their design team for these bottles!

I LOOOOOOVE THESE BOTTLES!!! November 26, 2008 Reviewer:  aidens_mommy "Crystal F" (Oak Park, IL, USA)  See all my reviews >

so i was trying to find bottles i liked since nursing wasnt working for me i started with the drop ins cuz thats the system my breast pump used but as clean and simple as that was i just didnt enjoy it. so my sister used avent but the fact that u cant just twist and go is ridiculous to me ive poured formula on my baby numerous times. but i remembered that i had a free ventaire bottle i got from a maternity store. so i found it cleaned it and immediatly fell in love. and only one time did i have a problem with a leak and they give extra parts. so i threw away the piece that leaks. it was an extra anyway. u people that dont like these is crazzzy!!!
