It is so worth the money!! and it is fun to and i love how you can battle friends wi-fi now me and my friend always trade pokemon... BUT if you get this game when you beat it you must get the action replay it makes the game twice as fun are you just end up giving the game a way. IT IS TOTALLY WORTH GETTING EVEN IF YOU DON"T REALLY LIKE THE SHOW ARE THE CARD GAME IT'S STILL WORTH GETTING CAUSE YOU JUST TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this for my daughter and within 2 weeks, she had completed all the badges. She absolutely loves the Wi-Fi aspect of this. She loves to trade on the GTS and the absolute cool part is that you can use a GBA (sapphire, emerald, fire red or leaf green) simultaneously with Diamond and you can migrate Pokemon that you have captured onto the DS game! It is awesome! [...] I would HIGHLY recommend this or the Pearl version game for any Poke fanatic! She is 7 and she is just Poke crazed! Even though both of her games are "complete" already, she continues to battle with her lower level Pokemon and raise their HP so she can acquire the rarer Pokemon in trades. She and her neighborhood friends all have these and they are constantly with their heads in the DS! They absolutely have a blast with it.

This game was so fun It was easy for me to figure out without having to blow extra money on a statagy guiude. The best part on this one is it incorperates pokemon from all the previouse games and the migrathion feture from your gameboy advanced games and the global trading center is amazing. I did go and buy the national pokedext book though so I new when and how to evolve the pokemon and it shows you hidden thing the guide dose not. I strongly recamend this for new players and old.

This game is the bomb. This is a fact because of the gts (global trading systym) that uses nintendo wi-fi. I also like this game because you can put games from your old pokemon game's pokemon on it.

This is a great game for people who are fans of the Pokemon games and newcomers. It is one of those games that you can play for hours on end. The variety of Pokemon that you can catch and train is endless when using the new wi-fi system or by moving Pokemon from GameBoy Advanced games using the DS's dual slot system.
The game also has some great features including a day-and-night change, an underground area where you can find fossils and stones to help evolve your Pokemon, and many experiences with using the DS's touchscreen.
I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a RPG games or creature games.

I LOVE the PokeMon series of games and when this came out I first purchased Pearl and it was AWESOME(I finished the whole game and pokedex in a week!) so I got Diamond!
They don't differ much.. In Diamond you get Dialga and in Pearl you get Palkia.. (If anyone has seen this movie "The Rise of Darkrai" it's the BEST PokeMon movie ever made!) But it's worth it to have a FULL pokedex! Trust me!
I have to say that I LOVE the Wi-Fi!!! And the Underground is a cool addition as well! I play it together with a lot of my cousins(from ages 7-19). My Uncle is 34, and even he plays it! It's so cool how you can trade with people all around the world! You can even play it alongside with the PokeMon GBA games! The BEST rpg game ever!!! If you like rpgs then this is the game for you! I would reccomend this game to ANYONE who has a Nintendo Ds Lite!!!
Also, if you're a newbie and finding it hard to play this game I would also recommend buying a DS Action Replay.. You can go anywhere.. Walk through walls... Have MAX cash.. Or you can just buy the guide.
Hope this was helpful! (:

Kids tend to love pokemon. Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are great games. Even though the Diamond and Pearl games aren't to different they still are a great present for 5 to 14 year olds!
