The hubby bought a his and hers version of the F6 back in 2005 and we still make sure to use it on every workout. I have to say his battery ran out last month and mine does have a low battery sign (never had to change the battery so I'll update if something goes wrong).

Since I started using it I feel the difference. It really help me with my exercise routine (I workout 3 to 4 times a week using a Elliptical trainer machine). The memories and the features are very helpful and easy to use. I also found that my heart rate on the machine at the gym (elliptical or treadmill)will sync up with the hr on the Polar hrm. Its great to finally track my calories burned when I go on a walk or jog outdoors.

I always knew that I should be hitting 65% to 85% of my maximum heart rate while exercising, and I knew that I was sometimes, but this little gadget showed me how far off the mark I was. I had to double my cardio workouts in order to get into the zone where I needed to be to lose weight. Now, I am seeing real results. That knowledge alone was worth the price. Most of us overestimate how hard we work out, spend a lot of time at the gym, and then get frustrated at the lack of results. With this gadget I am able to make my workouts effective not just long and energy consuming.
If one is serious about doing exercise properly, then you have to have a good heart rate monitor. If you try to get into an exercise program without instruction or a heart rate monitor, you are going to exhaust yourself and give up. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to improve their fitness

After looking at several different heart rate monitors I decided to go with the F6. I could not be happier! It comes in the color pink for the ladies and fits my small wrist. One of the best features I like is that it also doubles as a wrist watch so I don't have to wear a watch on one wrist and a heart rate monitor on the other.

The only issue I had with this heart rate monitor is trying to figure out how to upload your workouts to your computer. But once you figure it out you get really great readouts on the computer and can keep up with your daily, weekly and monthly workouts. I highly recommend this product.

I really like all the functions that the heart monitor has; however, plastic part of the heart monitor irritates my chest.
