After setting up, and mounting tree (4hrs) to my concrete deck, run power to it, it looked beautiful....especially @ nite. I was concerned of the wireframe trunk construction vs the real wood trunk as advertised. I had contacted tree mfg as to its application outdoors as the wireframe trunk appeared weak. They indicated it was suitable for outdoors. Two days later during rain and moderate wind, we found our tree bent in half and not usable! Returned to Target. [...] My opinion - this tree will not survive outdoors.

I bought the palm tree. It was easy to set up and did look great day and night. But after the first bad storm the tree fall apart. It was secured to my deck it just could not with stand the weather.

This item is of poor quality. [...]The Palms are made from the same material used to make imitation Christmas Trees. It is very difficult to get the tree to stand up right, as it is top heavy. Extremely overpriced!!

This tree looks beautiful when lit, but, just like another reviewer, it fell apart after the first rain storm. We tried repeatedly to put it back together, but it will not stay.
If you buy this, plan on keeping it indoors.

My tree looks great in the sunroom...it's absolutely beautiful! It's not really made for outdoor use if your area has a lot of different weather conditions, so think about that before you make a purchase. But, if you've got a spot indoors - GO FOR IT! If I had the room, I'd buy another one!

This tree is made very poorly! The very first thunderstorm broke the base and the tree trunk completly came unattached from the base. The tree is also made from very cheap "plastic" looking fringe (like cheap artificial christmas trees) It is certainly not worth the money!!!!

We have 2 of these in different spots around the pool. This is how we solved the trees problem of wanting to tip over in high winds. We got a nice looking planting pot and secured the base inside the pot with Sacrete. After the Sacrete was dry we covered it with river rock. Still looks great and won't go anywhere.

i purchased 4 of these for my backyard, with shipping cost, first rain with a little bit of wind 2 days after recieving my palm trees were all snapped off at the base.these are way too top heavy for the cheap base and trunk they are made with.

We purchased this tree last winter for our Christmas Tree. It is a great tree! Assembles quickly and easily, sturdy enough to withstand decorations and a curious kitty. Looks beautiful decorated and lit up, brings warmth to the snowy Christmases we have up here!

I was very happy with my purchase of this tree. I had read previous reviews about leaving the tree out in bad weather so we only put it up outside for special occasions and pool parties.. I have had many compliments on this tree it looks like a real palm tree, and is beautiful lit. I would highly recommend.
