One day i was shopping at Target in fourth grade for a bed spread. I was 8 years old and i wanted a purple one to match my room. When i spotted this one i fell IN LOVE!!!!!
I took it home and it was PERFECT!! I WILL NEVER forget that day at Target. I have washed my bed spread MANY,MANY,MANY times it has never ripped and the sheets get even more soft every time.
I absolutely agree with my daughter who is now 11 :) - mom of the bedspread owner.

when i was maybe 11 we redecorated my room with this set. it was really nice. i liked it alot. im a teenager now and i just recieved something more mature looking for my birthday, but i liked this bedding alot while i had it. i didn't have a problem with tears or fading.
i suggust buy it. if you have yours torn either your kids did something you don't know about, you washed it wrong, or it may be defective.

I bought this set for my 11 year old daughter.It is an very beautiful set on the outside, but when i took it home that day it tore and when you sleep in it you sweat i mean it is horrible. Never waste your money on this item ,because it has very poor quality for the price you putout for it.

The quality for the price for this bed set is great, however, like another product ordered, the color is definetly different than what appears in the description of the item. If purchasing, please realize that this set is not as "baby blue" as it appears. It actually has a very bright, purple look. And has very prominent polka dots. Look VERY close at this picture before you purchase.

I bought this about 2 years ago for my 9 year old daughter and it has held up fine. The stuffing in the comforter has gone a little flat from washings but stitching and colors are still fine. For what it cost, I think it's a good set.

We've had it for about 6 months and it's in great condition. The colors are nice and light for a not so girly-girl. I do wish the comforter was a bit fuller (stuffed). It's on the really light side.

I purchased this bed-in-a-bag along with sheers, lamp, rug, wall art etc. I would NOT recommend this bed-in-a-bag to anyone that would like it to last longer than a season. We bought it in Aug 2007 - washed it 2 times - it's faded - pulling apart and looks like I've had it for years. Target will not stand behind this product and the manuf will not either - I'm now left with a very sad, tired looking bed-in-a-bag! Not to mention all the other items I purchased to match...VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TARGET!!

Have had this set for over a year now for my 8 year old daughter. It looks beautiful. I have washed it several times and there has been no problems. I wash in cold, liquid soap (I ruined a comforter in the past by using powdered detergent, and also on wrong wash temp). My only complaint is the sham should be of better quality... it's very lightweight. This was a great comforter set for the price. I didn't want to pay too much for updating her room, when I know she (or is it me?) will be ready to re-decorate/update again after a couple years.

I brought this for a guess bedeoom and I had it for one year and never had any trouble with it. I think the reason the other people have was because they did something to their sets and didn't know how to wash it right. But we love it. A++++++++++++++++

I bought this bed in a bag for my daughter. the very first time I washed it the stitching came out of it and it was falling apart. [...] DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SET. I guarantee the others who have reviewed this product as "Great" have not washed it yet.
