The built-in whistle signals when the water is boiling, and the kettle shuts off automatically if it boils dry. Pouring is easy and safe with the large no-drip spout and flip-up stainless steel lid that directs steam away from hands while pouring. The exterior of the kettle is stay-cool plastic and the interior base is anodized to resist mineral build-up. Compact, lightweight kettle features a 2' cord. Imported. 6-1/2Hx7" dia.

This is great for the money. Only warning, the outside of pot gets hot, so be careful. Also there is no auto shut off (more of an FYI, I'm happy without one!). I loved this pot so much, I bought a second one.

My old Hot Pot finally died and so I bought this one a couple of months ago. I love the fact that it whistles when the water is boiling because sometimes it's easy to forget. It doesn't take long and your water is hot. It's the perfect size and works very well. I highly recommend this electric tea kettle.
