I'm on a restricted calorie diet and wanted a more accurate way to measure the mass (weight) of the foods I eat. Nothing about the scale has amazed me - it pretty much does what I expected it to do. It works well and its great to be able to choose the color and still at a price thats lower than the mega-mart competition. The scale isn't advertised as a "weigh and add" scale but any digital scale with a tare feature will do this. So if your doing your homework this scale is as much a "weigh and add" as any other digital scale. Just weigh, hit the tare button, and add some more. Basically this scale is from a trusted name, looks great, and does what the competition does for a lower price. I call it a good find.

My husband and I make candles and wanted something to measure out the wax with. This works great. It is easy to use (I didn't even have to read the directions) and it even came with batteries, ready to go! You can use the tare feature to use a bowl with it, if you need to also. If you just need a cheap little scale for hobby or cooking, get this one!

I was looking for a digital scale that I could store easily and also measured with ounces and pounds. THIS IS GREAT! I've been using it for a few months now and haven't had any problems. In fact, my mom wants to take it from me for herself! Like the ease of use and the 3 different options of measuring. The tare feature is the best! Great product.

What a great little scale. It does exactly what you want it to do, and it does it well. The scale is small and does not take up a bunch of room. It is decorative enough to stay out on your counter, which is a great incentive to use it! Great for those that need to weigh their food portions. The tare feature is a must have on any digital scale, and this one does not disappoint.

Easy to use, nice looking, and a space saver. I would highly recommend buying this scale!

Nice scale for the price, but it is entirely plastic. I can see it falling apart in a year. The picture makes it look shiny like an enamel finish, but it isn't. It is nice for lighter jobs and maybe craft projects. One good feature is that it measures containers with liquids and subtracts the weight of the container to give you the liquid measurement. It also comes with batteries.

This scale is perfect for my needs. It's small, light and very accurate. I am an hCG dieter and have to weigh my food exactly. The scale works well for that. I've also put big things - like packages - on it and it weighs those with the same accuracy. When I don't need it, it fits well in a drawer and turns itself off - all very handy.

I'm PLEASED! Its not the accuracy of this little marvel that makes me chubby..no sir! Its the size and the hue!
Something you can count on, again and again, every morning as you weigh out your mucilage.. then drink up.
Rocky and I clipped our parakeet and weighed the nails.
Now we know!

I bought this scale to replace one that I accidentally melted on our toaster oven. For the price, I didn't expect to get a great one but this one definitely exceeded my expectations. It *is* plastic but seems to be really heavy duty. I particularly like the fact that it weighs in ounces and grams. Makes it a lot easier when using recipes that traditionally call for weights rather than volumes for measurements. I have found that it is accurate and the tare feature works well. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to weigh more than just 11 pounds but I guess if I really needed to, could use my bathroom scale for that instead.

I read most of the other reviews before deciding to add one of my own and I can say that this is the best scale I have ever owned. I have had mine for a year now and I never have any problems with it. I have not even had to change the batteries yet. I shop in bulk and this scale helps when seperating the items when I get home. I am able to create portions that are typically frozen and when I am ready to thaw them I get the perfect portion size everytime now.
The size, shape, quality and functions on this scale are perfect. Well worth the money. J.R.W.
