I purchased mine about a year ago. About four months ago, the DVD player would not play certain DVDs. Now it rarely plays any at all. I read some of the warnings, but didn't think I would have any problems. I was actually thrilled when I first got it, but this product will definitely fail. BTW, I had the Hello Kitty one -- they are all cheap.

Within three weeks of receiving this gift, the DVD player started skipping, then eventually stopped working altogether.

Got this TV for my daughter's birthday and it worked two times out of five times we tried to play a DVD. We had the TV for two weeks and now I am returning it.

No sleep timer! When you put a dvd in the volume was a lot louder than the t.v. Very cute but not worth a dime. Get a descent t.v. that looks like a regular t.v. instead of just cute.

Got this for Christmas for our 3year old, but it was soooo loud and the DVDs skipped. It finally stopped working one week after we got it. They don't carry it in the store and they were out of stock online, so it was a pain to return. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!

I actually purchased this from Disney [...] but it's exactly the same model/manufacturer. THE SAME DAY, the DVD stopped working.

The television itself is actually pretty darn good so I'm returning this one and am going to go for the 13" television with a separate disney princess DVD player. If I'm right, and it's the weight of the television on top of the DVD unit that causes the trouble, then that ought to be the way to go.

I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews of Disney electronic products. What a piece of garbage. It was cute, but that's about it. The functionality/ease of use is miserable. The DVD player, up until the point it stops functioning, is loud and takes too long to load. Did I mention how loud it was. And then 93 days after I ordered it online, it stopped working - just like everyone elses who just assumed Disney had a quality product and ordered it. The one excellent thing I can say is that after having to make a few phone calls, Target did the correct thing and let me return it even though I was 3 days outside their return date policy. Thank you Target.

Bought this on my daughter's Bday less than 2 months ago.
The first DVD we put in it hummed like crazy. My wife yelled at me because she said we should have bought a seperate DVD & TV. Now 2 months later it doesn't play DVDs at all, not even brand new ones!!! Can't wait to go to Target tommorrow & unleash my wife on them...
I hate when she's right.

My mother purchased the Cars TV for a Christmas gift for my son. Worked about a year and went out. Sounds like I had better luck than some other people who purchased the TV. Cute but not functional!
