I decided on this particular heavy-duty cart because my 88-yr.-old mother was having fainting spells and lives by herself in Las Vegas, NV. This cart seemed sturdy enought to hold on to for balance to go to the laundry room, to pick up her mail, and walk to the super market behind her apartment complex. It seemed large enough for groceries, for carrying her laundry, and so many every day practical uses. She absolutely loves it and has gained more confidence in her ability to get to places that she hasn't been to in two months. So it has been a win-win Christmas present for my mom.
