I read the reviews and almost passed on buying this but I'm really glad I didn't.I love it. It's great. It arrived in good shape and is extremely versatile. It could go in so many places in my home. Wherever you have an empty spot, it looks great.It was good to know in advance the little ones were metal (mirror would be nice) but it doesn't detract from the piece at all or make it cheap. I thought it was going to appear larger, and I measured it on my wall beforehand. So if you're thinking it will be too big, it most likely won't. Detract about 4 inches from what you're envisioning. I looked at the one mentioned at West Elm but found it very prickly, This one has good balance, my husband loves it. My only complaint is I wish it was available in a larger size for more impact. It's a subltle piece, not a screamer. Great piece, good buy.
