I saw this item on Targets shelf with my 8 yr old son, and he wanted it pretty bad, so I checked out some reviews before purchasing the toy, didn't want to waste my hard earned money, and there were a couple negatives on this item. But my son was insistent that he wanted it, so I took the leap. 2 days later, it has become my son's "most favorite toy ever!" or so he says. The pieces stayed together well, to my surprise from other reviews, and it stayed lit up at all times too. So I just today purchased the dragon kit to keep him busy for longer periods of time, builds more models and also to my surprise turns out this is an educational toy too. So that's why I bought the bigger kit too, because it keeps him away from his game boy device computer games. You got a fan in my son for life laser pegs, well done!
