This fountain is beautiful. I received it about 2-3 years ago for Christmas and have used it off and on since. What I like about it is that once assembled correctly, it has a nice calming effect with a soft orange glow. It looks very pretty. What's not so great about the product: It is a bit difficult to clean as each piece of the fountain has to be situated just so. There is this plastic cylander thing with horizontal slots where the large flat rock pieces fit. These need to be adjusted just the right way in order to not only get a pleasant flowing river sound, but also to avoid splashing. If you don't take the time to position each piece the right way, it will splash onto your desk or table and could potentially ruin the tabletop surface. Also, the smaller pebbles can fall into the water reservoir making it impossible to get out unless you take the whole thing apart. Lastly, there is no option to turn the light off. I'm afraid of the bulb going out and I'm not sure if I could find a replacement or not. It's otherwise very asthetically pleasing.
