We bought this bike for our 9 year old daughter yesterday at Target. She is 5'2 and weighs 120 pounds. she could not ride a bike, and had never rode a bike before we went to 11 bike stores to find the "perfect" bike... what drew us to this bike was the name, and that the seat was adjustable. Our daughter Missy is very tall and since she was a beginner, we didn't want to waste our money on a "Big" bike. We raised the seat to the highest lever, took her to the Beach on the bike path, at 2pm, by 6pm she was a pro..This bike is perfect for a beginner.. it's lightweight and very easy to handle! I recommend this bike for any parent looking for a beginner's bike for an older child! It's perfect!!!!
