Ready to go right out of the box and very easy to adjust height by releasing the ends (latch type). Nothing to misplace and very sturdy and not noisy like an older stepper I had. I keep it in the living room (I have the blue color) and use it every day. Very affordable and lightweight.

or is it broken?
Opened box, then tried to adjust to a different level. A piece came out/or off?, and there's no instructions. There's a CD, which does not seem to have assembly instructions. Right now, altho I would like to have it as a step system, it would be useful to put my feet on when I am on the computer. (Need chair to be high, etc.) So if I could at least get it together, PLEASE HELP, someone.

I wanted a quality step for working out at home, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I live too far from a gym to go on a regular basis, so I use my kids playroom to work out. This step is very sturdy, doesn't slip around on carpet, and stores easily (no risers to keep up with). It's well-constructed, and comes with 2 DVD's to get you started. The instructor does give quite a few miscues, but the workouts are quite basic, so it doesn't mess you up. I do wish the workouts were longer, but for a basically free DVD, it gives a fairly solid workout. Overall, this is a great step at an excellent value. Highly recommended!!

This product is great!! I purchased it a few days ago and LOVE IT. The best feature is that you can raise and lower the step to fit your intensity level without having to hassle with traditional risers. This unit is easy to store and is very lightweight. You should definitely consider this as an excellent option to get started with or augment any fitness program. Good Luck!

The bench is a good product, but isn't as long as the steps in a gym--takes a little getting used to but it works just fine. I love that it is somewhat compact and can raise the bench to 5 different levels without the extra pieces like at the gym. The instructional DVD's are somewhat user friendly. For the most part they are well done, but at times the camera angle makes it hard to see what they are doing as it shows from the waist up and not their feet. The instructors do keep you moving the whole time, but some of the combinations I found hard to follow and was frustrated that I always felt lost. I've done step aerobics many times before this and for some reason this DVD seems hard to follow.

I bought this stepper last week and absolutely love it. I took step during and after college until we dropped our gym membership about 3 years ago. I've tried other workouts, but have found other than ballet class (my favorite exercise), step is my favorite because it keeps you moving. I like the cardio dvd (haven't tried the toning one yet) becuase you don't slow down while the instructor demonstrates the next move, you are constantly going at the same pace, which gives a better workouts than many aerobic videos. Definitely worth the investment.

After looking around for a long time for a stepper and an inexpensive one at that. It was comforting to find one so cheap and durable and to come with two DVD's on top of that....SO WORTH IT!!! I love my purchase I am using it all the time. The workouts are challenging and fun the instructor is motivated and moves at a good pace. I am intermediate to advanced level and I get a great workout from this. I am going to go get the ankle weights today to increase my workout....can't wait!

It's only been a week and a half since I've purchased this, and I'm seeing results already! I have been trying different workouts for years, but I would easily get bored with them. This holds my attention and really works. Even for an experienced stepper, I still get a great workout from the beginner series with the step at its lowest setting, which means there is lots of room for progression with this program. I was a bit sore 1-2 days after my first session with this, so I took a day off. Don't let that discourage you because the soreness goes away very quickly and does not return. Overall, this is such a fantastic product that I'm contemplating cancelling my gym membership.

I just bought this today and tried it out. Let me tell you that this stepper is awesome. The workout DVD that it comes with is not boring and I can see my self working out to this all the time. It also comes with a body toning DVD. I would recommended this to everyone because not only does it come with 2 DVD's but it's also portable, you don't have to move or carry around any extra pieces like the other step systems. The height adjustment will go from 6" to 10" without having to buy any extras and not slippery at all. This truly gives you a workout. Trust me you will love it!!! It
