I have been using these weights for about 1 1/2 years. The weights are great - very easy to use and you can easily add weight as you need to. When I first purchased these weights, they came apart while working out. I easily returned them to Target and they replaced them. Then again recently, they came apart while working out with the weights falling on me. What I found is that the screw on the end loosens and the entire end of the weight set falls off. Make sure that you check this periodically to be sure it's tight!

I used a pair of the 25 lbs SpeedPack weights about 1 hour/week for 2 years until one recently cracked on one end as the weight was raised for a shoulder exercise. About 10 pounds of the metal plates landed on my kneecap! Price is far below Bowflex and PowerBlock alternatives, but so is quality.

The weights themselves are fine----my problem is the material that covers the handles. It deteriorates,cracks,then it's electrical tape time. I would like to be able to get some new handle material to replace the old.
