Just received the glasses today and was surprised about the size. I was looking for a bit smaller glass. These are actually 24 3/8 fl. oz. The description says 14 3/8, so be aware before buying if you don't want a very large glass. Will probably return and buy elsewhere solely based on the size.

I got these glasses as a wedding present last spring, and the are most definitely not 24 fluid ounces. They may be slightly larger than the average wine glass because they are for red wine, which needs more surface area to properly "open up" and oxygenate. These glasses are not too big to use though by any means. They are GREAT red wine glasses, and my wife and I use them VERY often!

My brother bought these for us as a wedding gift, and they are very beautiful and surprisingly delicate for such a large wine glass. The lip of the glass is almost paper thin, so be careful hand washing these! They look fantastic and are big enough to get you tipsy on one glass :) Thanks Russ!

My fiance and I found these online and added them to our registry. My grandfather bought them for us and they are absolutely beautiful! I am a huge wine-o, so the large size works for me, but they are an awkward size when you hold them. I can fit nearly an entire bottle of wine in just one glass! I look like a lush

These are the most perfect wine glasses for red wine! The large vessel allows the red wine to oxegenate perfectly! They are very well made and great for every day or formal engagements. I bought them yesterday (and I've already used them). I'm buying a second set!! Hard to imagine I'm so excited about a wine glass!! :o)

I purchased these on the recommendations of some friends that were wine experts and some wine reading that also stated these were the best! We didn't have the budget for purchasing them through a top of the line store like William-Sonoma so we bought them at Target. I am very happy with them. They really help the wine to breathe perfectly and add to the flavor experience. I now understand how a wine glass can truly make a difference. We only purchased the pinot noir style for all of our reds and I believe that this works just fine.

I registered for all the Riedel wine glasses & decanter for my recent wedding and I have to admit, the no lead crystal does make a difference! My husband didn't think we needed Pinot Noir and Red Wine Glasses, but I stood my ground and we had a 'taste test' to determine if Pinot Noir was just as good out of a regular red wine glass or these Riedel glasses....Riedel's Pinot Noir glasses were the big winner! I would highly recommend these for anyone who enjoys drinking Pinot Noir, it truly enhances the flavor!
