My parents have this item and it works really well. So when I bought it my expectations were high. Lets just say it takes like ten minutes to fill a glass with ice. Either the blade isn't sharp or the motor just really [stinks]. It's like they sent me a used product. Now I did buy this from Target, and so I thought I'd find a replacement blade somewhere, but I just can't find anything. And I think its really cheap of either Target selling me a faulty product, or Rival not checking their products first!

I bought this ice maker for my kids (ages 11 and 13) and I also bought all the accessories. They had a great summer making all kinds of different snow cones. It worked great and was very easy for them to use. We also bought several as gifts.

I bought this item last summer for my 10 and 15 yr old boys. It's fast and easy to use. Everytime a friend or cousin (they have lots!) comes over they ask to make a snowcone. They enjoy it so much I'm buying everyone one of their own for Christmas! Tip: Don't waste your money on the special cone cups and straws. I bought a 100 pack of Sponge Bob Dixie cups for $2 and some plastic spoons and that's works just fine-at a fraction of the cost!

I bought this exact item several years ago & our still works great! I have 4 boys & they can put the ice in push the lid & it throws out your ice in seconds! This items works better than any other snow cone machine I've tried.

I bought this ice shaver because it can be used with regular ice cubes instead of specially molded ice. It works great if your making only a couple of snow cones at a time.

this stopped working with the 2nd use. it is impossible to take it apart to clean it.

I purchased this item for my daughter as she loves snow cones.
The first time we tried it, it wouldn't work. The ice shaver blade is too loose and needed to be tigtly held in place to get any "snow" from the unit. After reading other reviews I see my only option is to return the unit. What a disappointment!!
I'm now stuck with all the accessories I've purchased (cups, holders, flavorings) A complete waste of money. Don't buy this product!!! Better to spend your money on another more costly unit that works!!

I have no choice other than to return this -- it simply does not work. Nothing. My kids were all excited to make snow cones, we got everything ready, put in the ice, pressed the button. Dead. Zilcho. A huge disappointment! I will be purchasing another brand to replace it.

The first one I bought worked great for 3 snow cones. After that, nothing. I exchanged it for another one, and it didn't work at all. Both have gone back, and I'm going to try another product. I have not had good luck with this machine.
