I really like this dresser. It's very simple and ellegent. It's short and long which means it's not going to fall over, and thats a plus when you have kids around. i can fit 7 to 8 pants in one drawer! i got two of them, a his and hers. and whats so amazing is that i put them together myself in last than 3 hours ; and consider it my first time.

My husband and I bought this for our little girls nursery the most time consuming thing was putting the drawers together but it definately wasn't hard! As long as you follow the word for word directions and pictures it should turn out great! We had like two little scratches in it but i just took a touch up marker and it looks fine. I am changing the handles to make it look more girly but besides that it's perfect! I am also gonna be using the top for her changing table so we didn't have to buy a seperate one that you just have to get rid of later and takes up less space! My husband and I put this together in no time!

I followed the instruction and the top board was the last piece I installed. I found a 4-inch-long crack in the middle of the board. It was very visible since the dresser was black and the crack was white.
What a nightmare? Should I take it apart and take back to Target for exchange? Fortunately, my wife called the manufacture (the dresser is made in USA) and they promised they would send us a replacement. I’m satisfied with that.
Pros:
1. Shallow dresser (15-1/2"D) fits my bedroom with limit space (could be con for others).
2. Contemporary looking.
Cons:
1. The pre-drilled holes for the metal beams that support the draws are not in their right position. You have to adjust little bit and make new holes otherwise the 6 draw doors will not align. [...]
2. The dresser is very light due to its material and size. Be careful if you have kid. It might fall when they climb on it. You need something to attach it to the wall/floor. It was mentioned in the instruction manual.
3. The draw handles are PLASTIC! What a joke? How could a metal screw fix on a plastic handle? It come right off if you pull it little harder. I have to buy 6 metal handles to replace the original one.
4. The back boards of the draws could be higher. Clothes will fall into the lower draw.

I bought this item a couple of months ago and for the price I really can't complain. It took a while to put together and the drawers weren't as great as I was hoping they would be, the bottoms are this thick cardboard material.
I got the whole thing together and loaded it up with clothes and it does it's job. It's sturdy enough to hold a pretty big TV and stereo with speakers as well as a DVD/VCR combo. It works for what I needed.

I bought this dresser for additional drawer space in my bedroom. I am a female and put it together by myself in about 2 1/2 hours. It's not that difficult, yes there are a lot of parts but the direcions are well written. The drawers fit and roll nicely. The unit itself is very nice and does not look cheap at all. Other reviews have mentioned the bottom of the drawers falling out - if it was put together properly and used properly (with not a lot of heavy items in the drawers), this would most likely not happen. With the thick cardboard-type bottoms of the drawers, you should not expect to use this item for heavy storage. I have had it for a few months now, use it for clothes and accessories, and have had no problems. I am very happy with my purchase. I did not give it 5 stars because I think it should have stronger drawer bottoms so this dresser would be more versatile. I'm not complaining though - it's exactly what I needed at a great price! I havent bought this item YET! But I read the reviews and Im amazed as to how stupid people could be. You see the item on here and read the info about it before you purchase it. It states the size of the dresser and the depth of the drawers EVERYTHING. So, my question is why are you all getting mad saying that it's a "mini dresser for mini clothes." If your going to buy it get out a messuring tape and look at the expected hight. If your not happy with it DONT BUY IT. It's a dresser for 150 bucks what do you expect it to be made out of GOLD... Get real and read the fine print before you get on here and get mad because your too stupid to understand height and width....


And for the record I plan to buy it in just a few days. My son is coming soon and since the dresser is "mini" Im going to put his "mini" clothes in it and not use it for an adult as myself.... If I needed one I'd look at other dressers and go based on the HEIGHT & WIDTH to make sure it was big enough for my needs....

While this dresser takes a year and a half to put together (you'd better have a drill handy) it turns out nice. The handles in mine were plastic but you can't tell and they still look good. All the drawers fit and roll just fine. I was nervous purchasing this after reading some of the reviews but I think this dresser is great...planning on buying another piece to this set. But seriously...be prepared to devote some serious time to putting it together.

I ordered this dresser for my toddler's room despite the reviews, my mistake. The quality is TERRIBLE. I have purchased many furniture items from Target and loved them, but this one was awful. I can deal w/particle board for the price, but the drawers are mainly held together with glue. This is not a piece that would last more than a month of use. There are many more great dressers in this price range from Target, so PLEASE don't waste your time on this one. I already returned mine. It is very poor quality.

I bought this dresser on sale two weeks ago, and turned out quite pleased with the end result. I read the reviews on here, so like many, was somewhat weary of making the purchase. The put together process was the most painful part of the entire thing. The drawers took the longest, but turned out fine. The only thing that could have made this any better would be the drawers being a bit larger. The reviews I read about needing a drill... not necessary. As long as you line up everything correctly and follow the directions precisely, you should need no other tools aside from a screw driver, and maybe a rubber mallet. For those on a budget, I highly recommend this.
