This is a pretty chandelier and I've recieved many compliments on it. The capiz sheels are white, not yellowish like in the picture. This chandelier takes FOREVER to unpackage, though. Each shell is individually wrapped. It took me a couple of hours to open them all. My husband hung and wired this chandelier with no problem, but you may need a professional electrician.

I agree this thing took FOREVER to unpackage. The individual shells, then some weren't tied on well and re-tying was a nightmare. Mine came with 2 canopies - the one that matched the fixture was too small to cover our standard ceiling box. The other is chrome (which is shinier than the light's finish) but fit. It's up, it's acceptable. The fixture itself is pretty low quality but it looks great and I get compliments.
