I like these and do believe they help keep produce fresher for a longer period of time.

However, the technology is nothing special. It's simply Rubbermaid containers with a few holes to allow air in or out... and little "plates" designed to raise the food items slightly (to allow for air to circulate, I assume).

They do work somewhat, but don't expect miracles and don't think these are the same as the infamous "GreenBox" or "GreenBag."

any fruits and veggies I have placed in these have lasted twice as long as leaving them in normal bags from the grocery store. I wash lettuce, dry it and it store for up to two weeks. Most fruit like blueberries or cherries will last that long too.

I bought this set some months ago, and could not be happier! I left two weeks for my holidays, and when I came back all the fruit stored in these containers were as fresh as they were before I left. I definitely recommend then!

I have been very pleased with the quality of the produce saver set. It is heavy duty plastic with sturdy lids and seems durable. My order was promptly filled and received in three days!

This product does exactly what you hope for it to do. Your fruits & veggies stay fresh longer in a heavy-duty container. Often times lettuce goes wet, soggy, bad quickly in either its original grocer bag or in a flimsy container...not this one. The containers also allow for you to steam veggies right inside them. And safe for the big three (refrigerator, microwave, & freezer). Perfect!

The two smallest containers are, well..small. I don't see what can fit in there other than a few blueberries. I have used it for tomatoes successful, but my arugula didn't stay fresh for an outstanding amount of time. Debbie Meyer bags work just as well.

Reading the positive reviews about this product convinced me to get a set. I've had mine for about a month now, and I'm pretty disappointed. They don't make my produce or fruit last any longer than usual. I'm starting to wonder if there's some sort of defect with my set. :o(
