We purchased this item from a different vendor last year. It is awful!! It will not stay together. All the sides fall down anytime you apply even a little bit of pressure on them. We open the lid and the side all fall apart. Horrible design and I wish we never purchased it!

I put it together (funny how pictures would seem to make it easier, but...). Once I got it together it seemed to lift off the base and couldn't get it to snug down. It seemed I'd followed the instructions. Came in to see if anyone else had any trouble and read the review about the base being upside down. Went outside and sure enough! Flipped it, snugged it and we are good to go! Thank you.

We received this box as a gift and it did fall apart at first, until we discovered we put it together with the base on upside down. When put together properly it is very sturdy. It can hold all those little inflatables and noodles, toys etc by the pool and more. It can easily hold the weight of two adults. The kids climb all over it with no problems. Nice solution to tidy up around the pool and add some additional seating.

We've had one of this deck boxes for over 5 years, so it's the older green/beige model. It is outside year-round (extremely hot and very cold temperatures) and we have had no problems with it. It has never fallen apart nor does it let water in. I wish it was a little bigger but other than that it's been great for our pool deck.
