Not a safe product

My daughter loved playing in this walker. She no longer can use it because every time we put her in it the supporting legs collapse. We are extremely disappointed in this product as it is manufactured by a company named "Safety 1st." It is not a safe item at all. Your children can get pinched by this or could be severly injured. Maybe we just got a defective product, but it should still not do this. [...] So if this is on your registry, I would recommend putting it together and manually collapsing it a few times and then testing it by putting weight on it before actual use and before the 90 days you have to return it.

GREAT Walker to WALK with

I had recieved a very used baby trends walker that was filthy and after cleaning it up the seat was still horrible so I bought this one. Once I put together, which was VERY easy, we sat my son in, who is only 25 inches, he could barely touch with his tip toes. I was disappointed with this because the handed down one I had, he could touch perfectly to the ground. A couple of hours later, I saw him sliding all over the floor! His feet were actually touching! Then he stopped, and that is when I realized, with this walker, he actually has to STAND to walk!!! Is that not the point with a walker in the first place? Instead of just sitting in it while pushing his feet he has to stand and walk! Sitting and pushing feet is something a baby can do just sitting on the ground. I love the fact he has to challenge himself to stand and move his legs. Not only that, but the window tray keeps him constantly looking at his feet and helping him realizes how he is moving. The toys are the cutest things ever! These are not just my opinions, but his, he enjoys this walker more than the last we had as well as his excersaucer. He has actually been in this walker for over an hour and screamed when I attempted to take him out. I have yet to have troubles with the safety of this seat like the other reviews have mentioned. All I can think of is it actually put together right? Maybe they some how got damaged products. Mine is wonderful, the only draw back to this walker is I have yet to figure out how to fold it. The seat is also great because it is machine washable and the height adjustment is on the seat, not the legs.

I like the fact that this walker has a window in the tray so my little one could see her feet as she walks; doctors recommend this as it helps them develop faster.
A little bit of a tight fit to put together, but at least I know it will NOT fall apart easily. You just have to be sure all the connections snap (and you will hear it snap) completely together as the instructions state.
I usually "play" with the things I'm looking for to check durability prior to purchase. Not to the point of breaking, but normal use. I couldn't "play" with this one as it was only available online. But once together, sure enough, I was "playing" with it. It's no more bulky than any other walker & not as heavy as our previous one. In fact, because the wheels glide so well, it makes it seem as though it weighed only ounces. Extremely easy for a new person to learn to walk with! The wheels glide effortlessly & turn at the slightest effort.
The only thing I can think of with the other users is that they were either 1st time parents with no basis of comparison or didn't put it together correctly.
To be honest about it, I'm not too concerned what the other users say. I consider this to be a top of the line walker, hands down!!

When it was the prime time for my daughter to use, it was too heavy for her, and difficult to control. It did not help with her walking development.
I find walkers are pretty useless. I don't know why I bought it. One minute they can use it then the next day they want to walk on their own.... waste of time.
However it was still amusing to her for a short period of time.

I have two 15 month old sons, both of whom have considerable experience in several types of walkers. Neither of them can walk about in this walker. In part this is because the rear wheels prevent any oblique progress, which is kinematically inefficient. The walker only has 4 small wheels, which is not conducive to progress. If that is not enough, the brakes tend to enable themselves. Anyway, the bottom line is that this walker is "safe" because babies can't walk in it.

My daughter got this at about 5 months and still enjoys it at almost 10 months. The sound on the toy is funny.
I do have another walker that folds down better than this one. This folds down okay, but then the toys on the tray make it a little difficult to put in the trunk if you've got a stroller or anything else in there.
Overall, very cute, and a good buy. Seat is removable and machine washable, and that's always a plus with me.

First and foremost, I read the reviews before purchasing the walker and decided to get it anyways. I can see where some people said they were having issues with the wheels falling off and legs collapsing. My guess is that they did not put it together correctly. You just need to make sure that you are putting the right legs on the right side. We have not had ANY issues with the walker at all. My 3 1/2 baby loves it! She is just shy of 24 inches and can touch with her tippy toes. She loves playing with the toys and with the tray there, she can have as many of her own toys on it as she wants. It rolls smoothly and we have had NO problems with folding it down. I'm glad that we purchased this walker. Again, I think that anyone that had problems with it either A) had a defect of some sort, or B) just flat out didn't put it together correctly. I srtongly recommend this product.

We purchased this walker when our daughter was 7 months old. She's 95% in height and she couldn't reach the floor, even on the lowest setting! True, the toys are cute, but since she can't even "walk" in it, it's pretty much worthless for her! We ended up getting her a different one and she loves it!

This walker was easy to assemble - 15 min max. This was the only walker that my 10 mo old son would fit in for a time worth buying it for (weight and height of many wouldn't have lasted him long). Even though he has only figured out how to move it backwards, but then again he's only been in it for a short time tonight, I'm sure he will be moving forward soon with the determination of getting the dog. He loves it because he can get around. He was getting bored with his jumperoo and pack 'n play. With our house under construction this is perfect because I don't feel bad he can't get around downstairs, this keeps him off the subflooring. Right now my only 2 dissapointments are that the "peek-a-boo" tray you really can't see through at all and the only toy that makes a sounds only goes "boing" and a couple of red lights flash 3 times - not real entertaining. But with the wide tray I can give hime other things to play with. I would reccommend this product.

I did a lot of reading before making a decision on a walker, and this one is good for a taller child, which I have. At 5 and a half months we purchased this for our son and he was able to just touch the floor with his toes and about a week later he was fully touching. He adores the toys and Mom was pleased with the ease of putting this item together and how much fun he has with peeking through the see through window. I would recommend this item for price and practicality.
