I am extremely disappointed that I paid for these. I bought them because my mother-in-law has arthritis in her hands and has trouble manipulating the other basic kind. Unfortuately, these do not work at all. They are completely worthless. They are a complete pain to install..the directions are very confusing. After my husband put a hole through our relatively new cabinets, (with the drill bit guide IT CAME WITH) I should have said enough is enough. Once we got them on the cabinets, the magnet is not strong enough to unlock them!! So now I am stuck with safety locks that don't work and a ruined cabinet door. Will definitely be returning.

These locks are a nuisance to install (and you have to adjust the guide a bit to have the lock work perfect). Once we got them installed they work really well. My toddler will not be able to open the doors in the least to get to anything with these locks and the magentic "key" works just fine. One word of caution, this is a good lock only for doors and components that line up well. If you have drawers that are inset, you may have a hard time getting this lock to work for you (unless you install pieces of wood or other carpentry to stablize the lock's components in the right place).

These locks are indeed QUALITY locks intended to prevent little ones from entering the cabinet of which the lock is installed. That being said, the locks require a more tedious installation process than the cheaper, less quality alternative. Fortunately, install them once... then never worry about them again. If you want something that will last and WORKS, these are the cabinet locks to purchase. These locks were installed throughout my home when built in 2000, and still work perfectly. Also, if you decide you don't need them on a particular cabinet of which they're installed, all you have to do is tape the lever back.

My husband installed these on our drawers of our tv table. They work very well and were moderately simple to install. Getting everything to line up while installing can be tricky and the screws were very small. We plan on buying more for all our drawers/doors.
