I got this craft armoire for my family room since I love to scrapbook in my family room but hated the fact that a folding table was always out and all my stuff just looked so messy. I spent a lot of time researching and found this to be the best as it has the largest work space (both long and wide) and is fully contained so I can just fold the table down and hide all my stuff when not in use. I still use a separate paper trolley for my paper since the amount of actual storage space isn't huge (I have a TON of papers). Also, you cannot access the space where the table is folded down if the table is in the folded position and it's kind of tricky to get under there when you have the table extended. I put some of the items that I don't use a lot under there. Also there is a sliding shelf under where the table folds down that can hold a printer (I use it for my Cricut) and there are 2 plugs for a light/printer, etc. The color is not a bright white as shown but more a yellowish white with a distressed finish. Still very pretty but not bright as it appears here. I would highly recommend this product.

This armoire fits all of my scrapbooking and sewing needs. I like nice sized work surface that can be hidden when your project is completed. The outlets on the desktop are highly useful for my die cutter and sewing machine. The antiqued white finish is more like a whitewashed cream color but would fit well with any decor. The picture online does not represent real color of product. The only suggestion I have would be to add some type of lighting over the work surface. I added a desk lamp to the shelving area that I can pull out when I work. [...] Overall, I am very satisfied and would highly recommend.

This desk is almost a cheaper price less on Wal-Mart's website. I love Target, but won't pay that much more for a product.

First off, in answer to the other ladies question as far as using this item for a computer, I am not sure that would work. I measured my computer and it is approximatley 15 inches tall and when I measured both the top and bottom shelves, including the top part that pulls out, your computer would have to be less then 13 inches tall to fit. The lower shelf they talk about that pulls out is only about 14 inches from the floor.But I do LOVE this Armoire. I use it for my sewing and storage center. It easily holds my Husqvarna embroidering/sewing machine, my brothers sewing maching and my serger. The shelves allow me to store patterns, thread, machine attachments, and lots more. It is so easy to use. When I want to sew I just open the doors, pull out the shelf and I am off and sewing. I love the power strip that they have included with it. I do not have a very large home so I can not keep my machines set up at all times. I now enjoy sewing more then ever because I do not have to pull the machines out of their storage cases to set them up, and then set up a table to sew on. Everything is right there. I have cats and those of you who also have them know how deadly thread can be to them if they eat it. This armoire allows me to store all of my thread on the shelves and when I am done it closes up so no curious kittys can get at anything. I would definatley recommend this item.

This piece is exactly what I've been looking for, but
was wondering if this Armoire can be used for a computer,I would like to put my computer under cover in my family room when not in use. Also, please rate the degree of difficulty on the assembly of this piece; it was not mentioned in the reviews. Thanks!!

I wanted a place to put my computer and I haven't purchased this yet but, I was wondering if it had a place for that and a keyboard. As, it doesn't really tell you if the drawer that slides is for a keyboard and can be use for that. Its questionable. Hey everyone please post if you know.
