My daughter loves horses and this toy is perfect. It is completely beautiful and has many details. In response to another reviewer - yes it is a male horse, but I don't think that makes any difference - a female fairy can ride a male horse with flowers on it, just like a female woman can ride a male horse with flowers, ribbons and other decorations in a parade in real life. As for the children pointing out its male parts, just teach the children discretion. (I know easier said than done!)
Overall this is a wonderful toy, and I personally have no problems with it at all and see it as a great investment. :)

My daughter received this toy as an Easter gift. She loves fairies and horses. The toy itself is very pretty - however my daughter being 2 1/2 years old was VERY surprised to see that this beautiful horse with pretty flowers in its hair was a male horse. Not only is it a male horse it is very anatomically correct which is not necessary for something that is geared toward young girls. My husband was rather angry about this because now our son picks up the horse and turns it around pointing at it saying pee pee - now our daughter is doing the same.
Very upsetting!!
