Today my daughter received the journal as a 7th birthday gift. I was expecting it to be like all the other password journals that have been played with for 5 minutes and then tucked away. Boy was I wrong! My daughter loves this item! The password is easy to set and remember, and is also easy to open once engaged. There is an alarm for pesky siblings who are privacy invaders. There is a secret compartment inside, along with a picture pocket, and notebook with marker. The journal comes with letter stickers so your child can personalize it. My daughter's only complaint is that the journal didn't come with High School Musical pictures or stickers. This is a small issue and we can remedy that easily.
Overall, a great buy!
