After hunting all over the net for black affordable bar stools I found these!! They were shipped for free and arrived in like two days. Very easy to put together and are real wood. I love them they are very sturdy (we are on the plus side), they don't wiggle or shift. They are pretty heavy and have a wide seat. I love them and they look much more expensive then people think! Where else can you find a deal like this?? Well worth the price!!!

When ordering these stools online there was no seat height specified in the description section. Spoke with customer rep and she said these stools should be standard 24" seat height. When stools arrived they were 30". Too tall for my bar! Husband had to saw legs off. If you are looking for 24" stools don't purchase these.

I love these barstools. I opted out of a dining table and got these instead to put at my bar! I love the way they look and I am happy about my decision! They are extremely sturdy and simple to put together!

Good quality and nice looking. Arrived in perfect condition and not too hard to assemble if you know to not tighten down the front legs until all the parts are assembled. The left/right distinction on the cross bars is not mentioned in the directions. The labels indicate placement based on what would be Left/Right if you were sitting in the chairs. That worked fine. (Directions from another brand/style had these two assembly details and helped. Otherwise, a novice like me would have had some heartburn.)

Love these chairs. Very classy and sturdy chairs. Well built and pretty easy to put together (a little time consuming for 1 person). A couple of very tiny dings in the finish from shipping, but they were easy to cover up. Definitely recommend these chairs.

As always, I love Targets furniture collections. I actually picked up these chairs on clearence for 1/2 the cost and I couldn't be anymore satisfied. Chairs are worth the full price as well. Keep up the good work, Target!

I just got these stools a couple of days ago. They were easy to put together. However, there was a piece of wood broken on one of the squares. I am assuming it happened while it was being shipped. I was able to super glue it and it looks great!

It took me about 2 months to finally decide to buy these stools! I loved how they looked on the website, but was skeptical on how they would look in my apartment. [...] Extremely fast shipping! I live by myself, so putting them together took me about 30 minutes each. I am very very pleased with my purchase! They look even greater in my apartment! Don't think about it anymore, get them! You'll be glad you did!

We bought 2 sets (4 stools) about a week ago. The website is great, the selection is great, etc. Got the chairs in about 2-3 days. Put one set together, no problem. Everything fits great, they're very sturdy and reasonably well made. We had been looking at stools from [an upsacle retailer], which were about $800 for 4, but these were a little over $300 so we got the Tarjay stools. The [upscale retailer's] stools were really nice quality, the Tarjay stools are good enough. I'd say it was worth the savings for a little lower wood quality. We're probably the only ones who'll notice. Oh yeah - the 2nd pair of stools? Fuggedaboutit - the first stool out of the 2nd box was [junk] - the wood split as I tried to screw the legs on, the screw heads stripped trying to crank down on the ill fitting pieces. It was a mess, so we took that pair back to the store for an easy refund. Came home and ordered another pair, so we'll see what happens. Again, nice enough quality for a really low price, as long as you get a good pair.
