This is the 5th piece from this collection we have purchased. We have been very happy with this and all other pieces. We have owned 2 of the pieces for 2 to 3 years and they have held up well. We are using them in our daughters room.

This desk is the 8th piece of Shabby Chic furniture that I've purchased, and is by far, the cheapest quality of them all. For something that should have been very straight-forward to assemble (basically just screw on the legs) this desk was a pain. First, one of the metal pieces inserted in the legs that the screws fit into was busted off half way down, so I could only use one of the screws for that leg. Next I noticed that the piece of wood that the track for the drawer fits into was broken away from the rest of the desk. Lastly the knob was stripped and I could not screw it on the drawer. Luckily I had an exta one laying around from a previous purchase. Although I love this line of furniture and usually find it to be decent for the price, I would not recommend this piece. Basically I feel I paid a lot of money for something I had to try and hold together with tacky glue. Hopefully it stays as I can't return this piece to a store and am not paying to ship it back.

I was looking for cottage-style home office furniture and came across this collection on Target's website. I am usually hesitant to order big items online because you just never know what you're going to get. But I loved the style of this desk and after reading the reviews and considering the unbeatable deal (15% off & free shipping), I decided what the heck. My shipment arrived in 4-5 days and all parts and hardware were present and accounted for. There was no bad odor as I have read in some of the reviews for this collection. My kid and I put it together in less than an hour (if you can use an allen wrench you're good to go). I could not be happier with this purchase. The size is perfect, the paint finish is cottage-chic, and the little details (especially the glass knob) are super charming! I will be stalking the tall bookcases until they offer free shipping on those, too!

It is adorable..perfect match for my living room set! Keyboard drawer is perfect size for mouse as well! Want the hutch..but am waiting to see if I really need it.

Really happy with the desk. Two issues to consider - the knobs are pretty cheap and if you screw them in to tightly they will come unglued. The other problem is the hole to feed my monitor through would not fit, so I needed to drill a larger hole. Fairly easy to put together.

Bought this for my 5 year old to put her computer on. For composite, inexpensive furniture I thought this was a good deal. Piece of cake to put together. My 5 year old daughter put the washers on the bolts and hand screwed them in and then I tightened them with the included allen wrench.

This desk did have potential however there was no hardware included in the box. After placing three calls and three internet requests to target, I returned the item which was also a difficult process.
