Do not buy this product. I bought it and loved it but broke with in 5 months. The unit would heat up, but no steam would come out. I called Shark, they said to empty out the water and click the switch twice that there was air in the line. It did not work. To have it repaired, you have to pay for shipping and also send a check. I wrote my name on my steamer in marker, sent it back. They sent me a different shark with a craked wheel and all banged up. When you send it in for reapir, you do not get your original model back, but another used shark. I called, they sent me another steamer again banged up. Both steamers stop releasing steam within 5 uses. I am out the purchasee price, plus shipping. [...]. Save your money! This company hould be ashamed of itself!

I have ceramic tile and laminate wood floors throughout our condo--1st and 2nd floors. It used to take me hours to do all the hard surface floors; with the Shark Ultra Steam Blaster, I can do them all in an hour. It just trails along after me sanitizing everything! Remember, you need to vacuum/sweep up dust first--then use the Steam Blaster, otherwise you won't be happy with the results. It does not pick up crumbs or dust--it would just smear it around. Very sturdy. Extremely satisfied. Best cleaning tool I've seen in a while. Buying another for my home in FL.

I bought it about a week ago and used it on my tile floors in my kitchen and bathroom and I was so shocked in how well it worked. I haven't seen my kitchen floor this white only the day it was put in. It work great on everything even on walls to get out pencil and crayon marks off. Just to really test out this product I used it in the hallway in front of my apartment which is well over 40 years installed and let me just tell you WOW it really showed my how well this product works. I would tell other people to buy this product.

After a month of use, I am happy with the way it cleans. My only complaint is the design. There is no place to wind the extension cord. It doesn't store compact. I use a large gallon ziploc bag to hold its attachments. Other than that, I love how it leaves my floors and sanitizes my bathrooms/kitchen.

This machine is amazing! The main reason I got it was to clean toilets (you know how little boys are with their aim). It has done that job really, really well, and I keep finding new uses for it on a daily basis. It cleaned all of my baseboards in no time at all, the floors are squeaky clean, and it cuts through soap scum in the bath and grease in the kitchen like nothing I've ever seen. The best part about it is that you aren't using any chemicals, and the only smell you're left with is just clean, not lemon or pine or any other phone cover-up kind of stuff. I highly recommend this machine.

I agree with the previous reviewer, while conceptually a steamer is a great idea this one just didn’t cut it. Mine worked for about a month and then one day wouldn’t heat up. All the Shark products are manufactured in China and are poor quality (this is the third Shark product I’ve owned). If you do your homework there are some higher quality steamers out there. They cost more, but if you plan on using it for more than a month it justifies the cost. After tossing this one I got the red one from the GO-VAPOR people and haven’t had a problem yet. Works a lot better than the Shark, too.

I was hesitant to purchase this item after reading negative reviews. I'm so glad, I tried it out myself first hand! I also bought a Dyson Slim the same week, and after vacuuming with the Dyson, then steaming the whole house with the Shark I got all of my spring cleaning done----IN ONE WEEKEND! Love it. It doesn't matter that you have to wait about 10mins for it to heat up, that's the perfect time to sweep or vacuum. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family. Well worth the $20 more for the larger Shark. :-)

I thought this was THE best for my kitchen floor. We owned it about a month and it just quit. Would not heat, no steam, not even a gurgle. Tried to get hold of the Shark manufacturing and they did not answer their emails. I than got put on hold for quite a while when trying to call. Finally gave up and threw it out.

Having just bought a house with tile floors throughout, I thought this would be a good investment. After moderate use for 5 months, it broke. First the on/off switch would not stay ON. Could only turn on/off by wall plug. Then just turned itself off during use and BAM! Out to trash. It was real good at spitting out bursts of hot water. More of a mess than "steam" cleaning.
