I bought this desk, just for writing on it and something that was fairly simple and had some storage. I absolutely love it!!! It may look like the top is white, but the top is really black, so it is absolutely beautiful. However, one piece did come broken, but i just sent in the parts replacement form for a new one. The directions for assembly weren't exact, and had some problems, but i am a teenager and it only took me a couple hours to construct. Now that its done it looks absolutely GORGEOUS and it was such a great buy. Lasts long. =]
